Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's Lymphoma and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Services: Free Family Support Groups led by trained facilitators on an as needed basis for patients, caregivers and loved ones. Guest speakers on special topics relating to cancer and wellness. Patient Aid: Provides financial assistance for medication relating to cancer treatment and transportation costs to and from treatment. First Connection: Matches recently diagnosed patients with trained volunteers who have experienced a similar situation. Volunteer survivors, or their family members, offer support and information to individuals learning to cope with any blood related cancers. Located on 105 acres, St. Andrew's School provides a supportive academic environment for students who wish to do better in school. For students with mild learning disabilities there is a Resource Program. For students with mild attention difficulties (ADHD), there is a focus program. Tutoring is available as well.

KidsEye Summer Filmmaking Workshop: KidsEye is an intensive and fun five-day summer workshop held at the Moses Brown School, at 250 Lloyd Avenue, in Providence, RI that exposes young people to the basic elements of the filmmaking process, culminating in a premiere screening of their finished work.

Vocational Training for Adults is a great opportunity to further current employment skills or challenge yourself for a career change. Taught by certified instructors, skill sets will be taught by a hands-on approach. Students will be instructed with up-to-date standards, procedures and practices needed in today's workforce. ​

The Good Neighbor Energy Fund (GNEF) helps individuals and families who, because of financial difficulty, needs assistance paying a current energy expense and meets eligibility guidelines. Some examples of a financial hardship include illness or recent job loss. The program generally runs from mid-October thru August.

The goal of the Weatherization Assistance Program is to improve energy efficiency for income-eligible households while assuring health and safety. Our energy auditors, who are BPI certified, will evaluate the home/apartment to determine what can be done to improve heating and cooling efficiencies. The energy conservation resulting from these efforts helps reduce dependency on foreign oil and decreases the cost of energy for consumers while improving the health and safety of their homes.

Parents as Teachers provides: Personal Visits—Your Parent Educator will share age-appropriate child development and parenting information, help you learn to observe your child, and address your parenting concerns. Certified Parent Educators provide all four service components, customized to meet the needs of each individual family. Nutritional meal provided at noon and two daily snacks, senior advocacy program, daily fitness program, leisure activities, RIDE program for transportation, and a social worker on staff. Individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, memory loss are especially encouraged to attend the Center because their program is specifically designed for these health conditions.

What we do Ensure that children under 6 years of age are screened for lead poisoning. Collect blood level test results for children younger than 6 years of age to evaluate screening and lead poisoning trends. Refer children with blood lead levels above the reference level (5 mcg/dL) to case management and in-home education services. Offer comprehensive environmental inspection of homes of children younger than 6 years of age with significant blood lead levels. Conduct outreach and education about the dangers of lead poisoning. Offer free educational materials. Partner with the Rhode Island Alliance for Healthy Housing to improve housing in Rhode island. Set parameters for licensing lead professionals to conduct environmental inspections and remove lead hazards from properties. Conduct filed investigations on sites where lead hazard removal is being performed to ensure that workers are appropriately licensed and follow lead-safe work practices.
