Since 1989, East Bay Coalition for the Homeless (EBCH) has been helping Rhode Island families get back on their feet by providing access to safe, affordable housing combined with case management, financial counseling and connection to mainstream resources. A seamless array of services may be accessed through our in-house or referral network. Services are individualized and designed to help families achieve and maintain financial stability.
Families go to them during times of crisis and debt. Whether they need safe, affordable housing or assistance addressing the hazards of lead poisoning, our staff is here to help. EBCH serves households that meet the federal definition of homelessness. Lead education and services are also available to renters and property owners.

Provides individual and group counseling for victims of sexual assault and their families. Offers 24-hour hotline, information, advocacy, support, legal assistance and crisis counseling. trained counselors/advocates available to meet victims at hospital, police station and court. Assault Prevention Program offers personal safety programs to students in preschool through college. Day One serves victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and other violent crimes. Services include the 24-hour Victims of Crime Helpline; crisis intervention, individual and group counseling for children and adults, advocacy (including legal advocacy) for victims and their families. Also, the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), the RI Children's Advocacy Center, prevention education and a new Family Foster Care Treatment Program for sexually abused children in foster care and their foster families.

Social Support Group for Adults with Asperger's Syndrome. Sponsored by the Asperger/Autism Network, Rhode Island Chapter, Hosted at Bradley Hospital in the Pine Room. This support group is facilitated by Arthur Mercurio of the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) at Bradley Hospital. It is free and meets the second Monday of each month. A Brown University affiliated psychiatric center providing care for infants, children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Services include a full range of mental health and special educational programs for children with emotional and/or developmental disabilities. Treatment is provided through a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, special education teachers, speech and language pathologists, pediatricians and milieu therapists.

Bradley School integrates individual and family therapy and other mental health services with its educational services to treat the behavioral and emotional issues affecting the child's learning. Domestic Violence is one of the leading causes of homelessness for women. As an affiliate member of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence, we provide integrated services to address the unique needs of domestic violence survivors, as we work with them to break the cycle of violence and find secure, stable housing.
Through the Domestic Violence Program we offer comprehensive trauma-informed services for domestic violence survivors, including a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, advocacy, support groups, and children's enrichment programs.
The Domestic Violence Program is primarily an emergency shelter program with a focus on safety and housing.
The shelter provides safety for 26 domestic violence survivors and their children in a confidential location separate from other Crossroads properties.
