A transitional housing program for male veterans. Vets may stay for up to 24 months and receive food and clothing, case management, education, and counseling services. Counseling services include mental health including PTSD and substance abuse/ gambling counseling/intervention, legal services, resume building and budget counseling and more. The goal of the program is to help homeless Veterans achieve residential stability, increase their skill levels or income, and obtain greater self-determination.

Provides outpatient and home based mental health and substance abuse treatment services for children, 4+; adults, elderly. Also information, consultation and education, referral, diagnosis, treatment, evaluation and community support services.

Helps identify a family's needs, provides emotional support and links the family to additional supportive resources in the community. Adopt-A-Spot on the Bike Path: The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council is looking for groups or individuals to adopt portions of the bike-path to keep it safe and well maintained. Adopting a portion of the path will get you a free t-shirt, litter pick, garbage bags and gloves, a listing on the website, and the satisfaction of making the bike path even more of an asset to the community. You will commit to conduct a weekly cleanup of your section and to be the "eyes and ears" of the path, checking in with Watershed Council when necessary to notify them of problems or issues that you or your group may not be able to deal with such as a fallen tree, graffiti removal, damaged planting etc. Multiple people can adopt the same site. A business can adopt a spot and a sign will be placed along the bike path acknowledging their adoption of that spot.

CCAP’s Social Services Department administers the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for Cranston, Scituate and Foster with federal funding earmarked for the state of Rhode Island. LIHEAP is designed to help low-income clients meet the ever-increasing cost of home energy. Payments are made directly to vendors who then credit the client’s account for the amount specified. Eligible clients also qualify for a reduced electric rate as well as a discount on the client’s telephone bill. The Good Neighbor Energy Assistance Fund – The Good Neighbor Energy Fund is administered by United Way of Rhode Island. CCAP is proud to serve as partner and can assist residents in Cranston, Foster, and Scituate in need of utilities assistance throughout the winter months. The program generally runs from November through June. The Good Neighbor Energy Fund is available to any Rhode Islander who, because of financial difficulty, needs assistance paying a current energy expense and meets eligibility guidelines.

Men and Women Residential treatment combines vital counseling, educational, and recreational programs that challenge residents to understand the nature of their substance use disorder, commit to living without alcohol and drugs, and acquire successful life skillsProvides treatment for substance dependent adults. Continuum of care ranges from medically monitored detoxification to short- and long-term residential treatment. The detoxification program offers safe withdrawal from substance use, admitting clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each client is seen by a licensed physician. The average length of stay is between four and seven days, with an extended-stay option of up to 30 additional days. For those requiring longer treatment, residential care is available for longer than 90 days. Counseling, educational, and recreational programs that challenge residents to understand the nature of their substance abuse, commit to living without alcohol and drugs, and acquire successful life skills. Because successful recovery requires the involvement and support of each resident's family, individual and group family sessions are integral components of treatment. Phoenix House also offers individualized aftercare tracks, key components of completion.
