Students who are Providence residents and earn digital badges will be extended an offer of a summer job for the summer of 2018 through Workforce Solutions – an office of the City of Providence. A variety of summer youth employment opportunities are made available each year through Workforce Solutions to over 500 Providence youth. With this badge youth will qualify to be first in line for one of several career–oriented positions offered by a host of exciting community organizations and businesses. Students who earn badges and are not Providence residents will receive a recommendation letter from the City of Providence for summer employment through their local workforce board.

New Meadows is one of 11 group homes for adults with developmental disabilities in several East Bay and Aquidneck Island communities. The facility is staffed with professionals who have the special skills and experience required to attend to the needs of the residents of the group home. In all cases, staff are careful to match participants with residential support program that will help to ensure a positive outcome.
