This program offers the caregivers to navigate everyday stresses involved in caring for a loved one. These services often are sought during transitional situations, crisis situations and in situations where the caregiver needs education and support to take better care of themselves. They offer information, resources, and strategies specific to caring for someone who may have a disability or other health concerns related to aging.

Provides work clothing at no cost to low-income men and women who are completing job training and education programs, and seeking employment.

Free statewide delivery of prescriptions and other products is available everyday for your convenience.

Facilities which house a collection of materials including books, manuscripts, journals, government documents and nonprint formats such as paintings, musical recordings, videotapes, films and data files on magnetic tape which are organized to provide physical, bibliographic and intellectual access to a targeted group of people and which generally make available staff to provide services and programs related to the information needs of the targeted group.

Professional Development sessions – offered throughout the year on a variety of fundraising topics geared toward both new and seasoned professionals. Networking Breakfasts – regularly scheduled networking breakfasts offer an opportunity to meet other professionals, share information and make valued connections; National Philanthropy Day – Every November, AFP-RI hosts Rhode Island’s premier event celebrating philanthropy with nearly 500 people attending; Conference – The Chapter hosts a fundraising conference including educational tracks for all levels of experience, nationally recognized keynote speakers and great networking with other professionals. Members receive a significant discount; Government Relations – Members are kept informed of legislation affecting nonprofits. The Fogarty Center provides a variety of Employment & Day Supports to many of the people from its residential and other community settings. The Fogarty Center offers individual Person-Centered services for job seekers with intellectual/developmental disabilities by offering a comprehensive progression of employment-related services. These services include; Discovery, Career Exploration, Job Trial/Assessment, Placement, Job Coaching and Monitoring. The Fogarty Center also supports adults by planning meaningful activities throughout the day, based on personal preference, within a variety of settings including day programs as well as locations within the community. Day services are provided on an individual 1:1 basis and/or group settings.

Using curriculum based learning, participants develop skills in areas such as interviewing, work relationships, time management, conflict resolution and problem solving.

Provide personal care to injured, ill or disabled people who can no longer care for themselves or require assistance. For those with a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia, the special care rooms provide the peace of mind that only a secure environment staffed by those specially trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia care can provide.
