EBCAP’s Food Pantries offer monthly food distribution to assist food insecure households. Individuals/families in need of food assistance may come to one of EBCAP’s three food pantries twice a month. When you arrive, our staff will help you select food that you/your family will enjoy. The amount of food you receive is based on your family size. It is helpful (but not required) to bring with you re-useable bags. The program provides: -Nutritious supplemental food at no cost to participants -Assistance to people with special dietary needs -Family advocates who assess additional needs of individuals/families and connect participants to other EBCAP community resources

Full Service Dental for Adults Living with HIV and individuals who identify as trans in the community. Providence-based dental office has been established to meet the dental needs of HIV positive adults in our community. Funding from the Ryan White (part C) grant enables Thundermist to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative dental services to HIV positive adults, who might not otherwise have access to care. Housing- two operating 6 unit apartment building for individuals with differing abilities and who meet income guidelines established by RI Housing. Shared Living- if an individual is interested in shared living, the agency will work with them to identify a home care provider preferably someone with whom they already have a relationship. 24 hour Supported Living Services- individuals who require a more intense level of support and supervision may choose to live in one of the 6 homes or 5 apartments operated by this agency within which 24 hour staff supports are available. Focus within these homes is on supporting individuals to develop skills needed to live, work and play successfully in their community.

Family Therapy is a 5 step Engagement- Develop positive perception of therapist and program; facilitate family's willingness to participate in counseling. Motivation- Increase hope and motivation for change; Reduce family negativity and blaming; address risk factors associated with treatment drop out. Relational Assessment- Identify relational functions, needs, and hierarchy within the family. Behavioral Change- build youth's and family members' skills related to specific referral issues; Reduce family conflict and address family patterns that maintain the presenting problems. Generalization-Increase family resources and extra-familial support; maintain and generalize changes; Prevent relapse. Functional Family Therapy provides a lifeline to youth and families strained by the cycle of risky behavior, disengagement, criminal infraction, or a breakdown in family relationships.
