The Tomorrow Fund sponsors two camps for patients and their siblings with NO COST to families: Camp Dotty and Camp Tomorrow. These day camps provide the opportunity for children to experience fun, age-appropriate activities while ensuring health care and safety needs are met. Child Life Services oversees all activities and supervises volunteer counselors all of whom receive special training.

Counseling services- Couples and family counseling- We offer couples and family counseling to support you as you work toward meeting your goals. The Providence Vet Center has a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) onsite to offer family and couples counseling. Grief and bereavement counseling- If someone close to you has died or you're adjusting to a difficult life change, we're here to support you. The Providence Vet Center offers bereavement counseling in an individual or group setting by a trained bereavement counselor. Mental Health Care- If you're struggling with issues like PTSD, depression, grief, anger, or trauma, we offer counseling and other support. The Providence Vet Center offers individual and group counseling using evidence based therapies such as: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Recovery and Empowerment, Sobriety Support, Solution Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Psychoeducation, Psychosocial Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Moral Therapy, Seeking Safety Therapy. Military sexual trauma care- If you experienced sexual assault or harassment during military service, we can help you get the counseling you need. Any Veteran or service member, including members of the National Guard and Reserve forces, who experienced military sexual trauma is eligible to receive counseling. This applies to people of all genders from any service era. Referral Services- Addiction and subtance use care- We can help you overcome substance use problems, from unhealthy alcohol use to life-threatening addiction. We'll connect you to services for your specific needs. The Providence Vet Center has specially trained counselors on staff to support your needs and can facilitate inpatient treatment if necessary. We also provide referral to VA and local community counseling resources. Suicide prevention-Call our Veterans Crisis Line at 988 and press 1 to get support anytime day or night. This service is private, free, and available 24/7. Our Vet Center can also connect you with ongoing counseling and services. Veteran Connections-We can help connect you to VA and community resources that will support you in achieving your goals. The Providence Vet Center may help you know where to go and how to register for VA medical benefits and register for care, filing a military-related disability claim and other forms, understanding your VA education benefits, Housing and home loans, education and referral for VA burial benefits. Community Engagement- We provide private organizations and community agencies education on our Veteran Community and military culture. Together, we build referral networks to expand support for Veterans, service members, and their families. The Cumberland Senior Center is committed to providing an array of quality services to enrich and educate their senior citizens. They encourage and assist individuals in achieving a lifestyle in which they can remain an active and productive member of the community. Services include day trips and exercise classes. Membership is $8 per year to join the Cumberland Senior Center. Non-residents' cost is $12 for the annual membership. Programs: a variety of educational, informational and recreational programs for seniors are offered through the year. Senior Van - transportation is available, including center pick-ups and drop-offs, for local shopping and appointments. Daily Lunches - $3 lunches are served daily at 11:30. Reservations are needed.

Emergency Shelters Citizens Bank Family Center: Provides emergency shelter and support for up to 15 families. Couples' Shelter: The only emergency shelter in the state for couples without children, offers case management for four couples in scattered apartments. Harrington Hall: Rhode Island's largest men's shelter, accommodates up to 112 men. Women's Shelter: Shelters 41 women in 10 shared bedrooms, one wheelchair-accessible bedroom, a common space and outdoor patio.

Free, confidential, one-to-one literacy tutoring in reading, writing and English to East Bay adults. We teach basic literacy skills, GED skills, and ESL (English as a Second Language) skills. Volunteers test and tutor students, serve on our board, maintain our mailing lists, man our computer lab and other tasks.

Renaissance Project is a tax-credit project that renovated apartments on on Goddard Street. With this project, 30 units were completely rehabbed and transformed into affordable apartments.

The Adult Education Academy offers a wide range of services to prepare students for their GED / High School Equivalency, leading to employment and post-secondary education / training. Our program promotes a positive learning environment and offers day and evening classes. The teachers recognize each individual’s goals, learning style, and experience. Programs, usually offered by licensing authorities, that accept and, where possible, attempt to resolve complaints regarding the licensing, cleanliness and safety of facilities, treatment of residents, quality of care, excessive fees, unethical or improper conduct of personnel or other inappropriate business practices of group residences for adults with disabilities, assisted living facilities, and senior residential care homes.

Program provides a noontime meal five times per week to qualified individuals delivered by volunteers.

The UCP Rhode Island Children & Family Services program provides services to children with disabilities and their families under Rhode Island�s Home Based Therapeutic Services Program (HBTS). Medicaid eligible children (up to age 21) are provided comprehensive periodic evaluations to supplement the treatment of various medical conditions. Works with families to develop service plans for their children and assists the families to secure HBTS funding. Once a plan is approved, UCPRI provides case management and services, therapies, and training for the child and family. The object is to apply individualized services that permit the child to live at home and take an active part in school and community. UCPRI�s services may help relieve some of the financial strains that make raising a child with disabilities so stressful to both the family and child. Other Children & Family Services:

Provides information, referral and advocacy to families with children who have special needs. UCPRI will assist families in identifying their needs (home health care, learning, recreation) and work with them to secure funding. Most classes meet for 3 hours a week for 12 weeks.
