Individual needs, interests, skills and abilities are addressed through a variety of stimulating educational, social and health activities to improve the quality of life. **Retired Senior Volunteer Program--Allows anyone 55+ years of age the opportunity to help make the community a better place to live by sharing themselves with others. Participants gain personal satisfaction by serving at a public or non-profit agency. They also have fun by participating in interesting and rewarding experiences. Seniors serve from one to 40 hours a week; RSVP provides guidance and support, transportation, meals and insurance for all volunteers. Provides shuttles to nearby malls and local markets. Provides transportation to doctors, nursing homes and hospitals in Providence, North Providence, Johnston and Warwick by appointment.
