Chateau Clare is low income housing subsidized by HUD (Housing and Urban Development) 62+, handicapped or disabled.

Jamestown Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Health and Rhode Island Emergency Management, implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The EMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties and performs any other duties as assigned by the Town Manager. Jamestown EMA staff is trained to distribute medical supplies, food and water at times when it may be required. Shelter: Melrose School, located at 76 Melrose Ave will be operational and staffed in partnership with the Rhode Red Cross at anytime that residents may be required to leave their homes. The staff at the shelter is trained to provide basic needs including food, water and medical treatment. Pets may also be sheltered at the Lawn Avenue School during these events.

Through curriculum-based youth development services, young people learn to meet their basic personal and social needs and to build competencies which are necessary for a successful adolescent and adult life. Services focus on stressing the youth’s competencies, strengths, and developmental needs while working on problems and weaknesses.

College Leadership Rhode Island (CLRI) is a career readiness program that inspires, educates, and engages a diverse group of student leaders. Founded in 2004, CLRI is a tuition-free, semester-long program (4 full-day sessions) that explores careers in the nonprofit, public and private sectors through experiential learning and direct access to community and industry leaders. The Core Program is a not a starting point, but rather a process for leaders to refine and enhance their commitment to Rhode Island throughout their lives

A pregnancy resource center that offers support to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies. Offers options counseling, 1st trimester ultrasound, parenting classes, childbirth education and material support. Also offers post abortion support. All services are free and confidential. Services include: Post-abortive recovery Pregnancy testing Options counseling (for pregnant women) Relationships/sexual behavior RN on staff Ultrasounds Medical Referrals

Assertive case management services provided by the mobile treatment team to supported living facilities and to numerous scattered site apartments in the East Bay area.

Clothes To Kids Rhode Island is a year-round program, and clients may shop twice in a 12-month period. Families are welcome to shop with or without the children. Each client shops for 5 pairs of new underwear and socks, 5 tops, 4 pants/shorts/skirts, 1 jacket/coat, and 1 pair of shoes

Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons, 18 - 100, who are blind or severely visually impaired, through a center-based program, regional satellites, or community services. Included are daily living skills training, orientation and mobility, counseling, diabetic program, summer camp, low vision services, workshop training and employment, a closed circuit radio information service, volunteer services, speakers bureau, tapes, Braille material, aids and appliances.
