Caregiver Homes of Rhode Island’s community-based program helps families provide high-quality, 24-hour care for elders at home. They help make it possible for a family member or friend to become the primary in-home caregiver by providing them with the support and financial assistance they need. The Structured Family Caregiving model is known as RIte @ Home.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Feeding and Nutrition Program provides food vouchers, allowing them to purchase milk, eggs, cheese, juice and iron fortified cereals and formula. The WIC coordinator provides nutrition education and counseling to all program participants on a monthly basis.

Main & Sayles Apartments located on 950 Main Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island is an LIHTC development offering one and two bedroom Conventional and Tax Credit apartments. The LIHTC income guidelines are established through the Tax Credit program.

Jamestown Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Health and Rhode Island Emergency Management, implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The EMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties and performs any other duties as assigned by the Town Manager. Jamestown EMA staff is trained to distribute medical supplies, food and water at times when it may be required. Shelter: Melrose School, located at 76 Melrose Ave will be operational and staffed in partnership with the Rhode Red Cross at anytime that residents may be required to leave their homes. The staff at the shelter is trained to provide basic needs including food, water and medical treatment. Pets may also be sheltered at the Lawn Avenue School during these events.

A broad-based low-income housing advocacy organization promoting public policy initiatives to preserve and increase affordable housing opportunities in Rhode Island and to raise public awareness on issues related to affordable housing.

A respite stay is designed as a supportive service offering the comfort of home, with the security of knowing that our experienced staff is available 24/7. A furnished respite apartment is rented for a minimum of 2 weeks or up to 3 months. This is a nice way to become familiar with our assisted living residence.

Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons, 18 - 100, who are blind or severely visually impaired, through a center-based program, regional satellites, or community services. Included are daily living skills training, orientation and mobility, counseling, diabetic program, summer camp, low vision services, workshop training and employment, a closed circuit radio information service, volunteer services, speakers bureau, tapes, Braille material, aids and appliances. Eco-Depot is a free service for properly disposing of household hazardous waste from RI households. Household hazardous waste is anything labeled with a skull and crossbones, or words like 'toxic', 'poison', 'flammable', 'combustible', etc. Examples include mercury devices, automotive fluids, fertilizers, pesticides, pool chemicals, and polishes.
