Based at Providence Public Library, Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative (RIFLI) is a free, nationally recognized ESL, citizenship preparation, workforce development and family literacy program for adults based at public libraries throughout Rhode Island.

Grade Levels: 6 - 12. Part of Tides Family Service.

Mother of Hope Camp provides young people of all faiths and backgrounds with the opportunity to grow physically, socially, and spiritually in a Catholic Christian community under the guidance of a trained and caring staff. The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County works toward a future free from violence. They work collaboratively to offer safety, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to residents of Washington County. DVRCSC has a confidential safe home for women who face homelessness as a result of domestic violence. Additional services include a Drop-In Advocacy Center, Support Groups and One-on-One Counseling by appointment. They offer education and outreach on the subject of healthy relationships, dating violence, cyber stalking and techno-abuse. DVRCSC can provide Court Advocates at McGrath Judicial Complex in Wakefield.

CCAP EMERGENCY HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM – Assists individuals/families living in Cranston, Coventry, Scituate and Foster with back rent, security deposits, mortgage assistance, late fees associated with back rent or mortgage, moving costs and utilities. Funding is limited.
