For those who have experienced the recent death of a loved one, Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice provides several Bereavement Support Groups throughout the year. These groups address a variety of topics designed to help, heal and support those who have lost a loved one. These groups are open to the public and free of charge.

The monthly diabetes support group sponsored by the Visiting Nurse Services Home and Hospice is held at the Edward King Senior Center, 35 King St., Newport RI. The meeting is open to the public, and no appointment or referral is needed. Diabetes Support Groups are open to all those living with diabetes. The group is provided free of charge by Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice. Each meeting is facilitated by a certified diabetes educator. No registration or doctor’s referral is required. Partners with professional residential maid services who are insured and/or bonded and perform background checks on their employees to participate in our foundation. The companies have agreed to take 2 patients at a time and offer each patient 4 free cleanings, 1 a month for 4 consecutive months as a way to give back to their community.

Residential facility for adult males, 18+, recovering from substance abuse addiction. Intensive day program as well as intensive non-residential evening program for adult/adolescent males/females. Outpatient substance abuse counseling and group therapy. Also provides counseling for domestic violence, gambling, and anger management services for men, women and children over six.

Bold Point Center for Advanced Therapy offers Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services available 7 days a week.

Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) serves people who have disabilities or chronic care needs in the setting ideal for them and their families. Services may be episodic or on-going. Services may be provided in a person's home, the community (for example, shared living or assisted living), or institutional settings (for example, intermediate care facilities, hospitals, or nursing homes) to optimize their health and retain their independence. People of all ages may need long term care. Generalization – Increase family resources and extra-familial support; Maintain and generalize changes; Prevent relapse. Functional Family Therapy provides a lifeline to youth and families strained by the cycle of risky behavior, disengagement, criminal infraction, or a breakdown in family relationships.
