This historic building, formerly known as St. Maria's Home. This mid-rise has been restored to its original grandeur and offers 57 subsidized units of elderly housing comprised of 5 studio units and 52 one-bedroom units. The Governor was completed in December of 1996 and continues to provide quality housing for elderly citizens who otherwise would be residing in a public senior citizen facility.

Westbay Farm is a three-acre farm, growing 15,000 pounds of organic vegetables each year. Its largest crops are lettuce, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and squash. The farm provides fresh produce to the Westbay Marketplace food pantry, expanding the nutritious choices for our clients in Warwick, West Warwick and East Greenwich. Farm produce is also available to the public at our summer Farm Stands

Sparrows Point II Apartments—a project based Section 8 Development designed for the Elderly (62 years of age and older) and/or person with disabilities under 62 years of age. The community consists of (151 apts.) 135 one bedroom and 16 two bedroom apartments and is smoke free.

Public Works Department

Provides outpatient and home based mental health and substance abuse treatment services for children, 4+; adults, elderly. Also information, consultation and education, referral, diagnosis, treatment, evaluation and community support services.

Services: A 72 bed nursing facility

Provides educational and cultural enrichment activities for members. Offers foreign language instruction, arts and humanities classes, trips and noon lunch. Monday through Friday members choose from a wide spectrum of stimulating classes, informative lectures, speaker series, hands on workshops, volunteer opportunities, and social events which sustain the physical, intellectual, and social dimensions of life. Services for women's and men's groups as well as wellness sessions for the mind, body, and soul such as tai chi, yoga, meditation, exercise for seniors, Pilates, dance fitness and nutrition. Our chef serves lunch weekdays and prepares the menus and offerings for special events.

The CCAP Food Bank provides nutritious food and support services to people in need with compassion, dignity and respect. They are a Choice Food Bank. Their Choice Food Bank enables people to “shop” through a food selection process, much like they would in a grocery store, rather than receiving pre-packaged bags. The Choice Bank creates a dignified experience that encourages the selection of healthy foods.

In addition to 24 hour/seven days a week nursing care, Saint Antoine Residence offers the following special services: Special Care Unit The Special Care Unit is a 60-bed unit for residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The Unit provides a safe, structured environment that meets physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs throughout the disease progression. An emphasis is placed on residents succeeding, dignity, and support of family members. Short Term Rehabilitative Care Short Term Rehabilitative Care is designed for individuals in need of rehabilitation following hip or knee replacement, heart attack, stroke, or other acute medical event. Our goal is to rehabilitate individuals to restore their previous level of functioning with the goal of returning back to their home. Skilled nursing services; on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available. Short term stays range from one week to several weeks, depending upon the individual’s medical condition. Hospice Suite The Hospice Suite provides care for terminally ill individuals who qualify for general inpatient level of care. The Suite affords residents a lovely homelike environment with ample room for visiting family members.

Eleven free support sessions for victims of violent crimes. Also provides faith-sensitive professional (not a psychiatrist) counseling for individuals ages10+, and families in the areas of abuse issues; adult children of alcoholics, anxiety, behavioral changes, bereavement, depression, identity crises, marital or family problems, rape, religious or meaning-of-life crises, sexual identity concerns, stress, vocational crises. Purpose is to assist persons to live a deep, meaningful and fulfilling life. Also, clergy coaching, church consulting, and educational programs for groups (parenting, stress reduction, dream work).

Project Outreach’s food pantry serves more than 500 families a month.

Operation Holiday Cheer is an annual care package initiative organized by the Lt. Governor's Office for Rhode Island service men and women spending the holidays away from home.

The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County works toward a future free from violence. They work collaboratively to offer safety, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to residents of Washington County. DVRCSC has a confidential safe home for women who face homelessness as a result of domestic violence. Additional services include a Drop-In Advocacy Center, Support Groups and One-on-One Counseling by appointment. They offer education and outreach on the subject of healthy relationships, dating violence, cyber stalking and techno-abuse. DVRCSC can provide Court Advocates at McGrath Judicial Complex in Wakefield.

Provides comprehensive outpatient substance abuse treatment for people addicted to opiates in Rhode Island, near by Massachusetts and Connecticut. Center of Excellence Opioid Use Disorder location: Provides assessments and treatments specifically for opioid dependence.

The Bay Center was designed and built serve the community as a living classroom and center for marine science educational programs, administrative offices and community meeting space. The trails on STB's grounds are part of the Providence Urban Greenway Trail, inviting community members to enjoy this rare and beautiful urban access point to the Bay from sunup to sundown. The building itself represents Save The Bay’s approach to brownfields redevelopment and environmentally-friendly shoreline development.

Provides advocacy in court for the best interests of children who are the victims of abuse and/or neglect and are therefore involved with the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and the Rhode Island Family Court. Staff includes attorney, guardians ad litem and Social Caseworkers. Program also trains volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates.

Richmond Emergency Management Agency implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The EMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties.
