Located on the South side of Providence, Rhode Island, HGI's vibrant and welcoming RUKIYA CENTER provides members of the West African Immigrants and Refugees community with elder services (Sweetie Care, African Elders Enrichment Program), Soft skills pre-employment and workforce development, literacy classes for women, basic computer and design classes, therapeutic arts, cultural enrichment, advocacy, case management, immigration & citizenship classesand other wraparound services for youth and families. HGI’s for-profit arm, Broken Pieces International, engages adults, at-risk youth and other under-served populations in the design and manufacture of clothing and accessories that reflect the character and community of both HGI and the West African diaspora. This provides them with vital job training and economic opportunities, and the revenue generated supports HGI’s work in Liberia. The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County works toward a future free from violence. They work collaboratively to offer safety, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to residents of Washington County. DVRCSC has a confidential safe home for women who face homelessness as a result of domestic violence. Additional services include a Drop-In Advocacy Center, Support Groups and One-on-One Counseling by appointment. They offer education and outreach on the subject of healthy relationships, dating violence, cyber stalking and techno-abuse. DVRCSC can provide Court Advocates at McGrath Judicial Complex in Wakefield.

Rhode Island Football Academy is designed for campers ages 5-15. This division is an ideal camp opportunity for the player looking to become an elite football player. The camp philosophy of teaching “Football the Right Way” ensures that they will deliver proper football instruction to campers of all playing levels. Training sessions are fun and up tempo. Campers will build on their training learned each day for their respective position and then move on to more advanced training.

The Jamestown School Department, with the support of the Jamestown community, provides a learning environment that instills confidence, inspires enthusiasm for lifelong learning, and provides children with the skills and knowledge necessary to become engaged and productive citizens. Jamestown School Department operated 2 schools, Melrose School, in the same location as this department, for students in grades PreK-4, and Lawn School, located at 55 Lawn Avenue, for students in grades 5-8. Jamestown School Department provides a rigorous, standards based curriculum with a balanced literacy program, real-world mathematics, hands-on science and civics education preparing students for 21st century learning. Jamestown schools have adopted computer science, coding and science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) based opportunities as key components of the curriculum. Currently both schools in the district have a fully furnished makerspace lab with 3-d printers, green screens and Edison robots.

This group beneficial for all teenage girls, as all teenage girls are at risk for exploitation. Clients do not need to have a sexual abuse history to benefit from this group.
