Project Outreach established in early 1970s by the former Washington Park United Methodist Church provides emergency assistance to surrounding neighbors in times of need: food pantry, bread distribution, utility and rental assistance programs, educational programs for adults and children, prescription help for the uninsured, exercise programs in gym, and ESL and GED programs.

There are going to be three main types of places where people will be able to get vaccinated: The first type of place is a state-run vaccination site. The second location where vaccine will be available will be retail pharmacies. The third type of place where people will be able to get vaccinated is local and regional vaccination sites. These will include community clinics run by cities and towns. It will also include vaccination happening through some hospital and healthcare systems, community health centers, and other sites in the community. Registration for these sites will be determined by municipalities.

Head Start educators work with families and children to implement developmental and socialization strategies that work best for you and your child. Our classrooms are bright and inviting and are designed to maximize creativity and learning. Healthy lunches and snacks are provided to children daily. In addition to providing educational and nutritional resources, children will have access to health and dental screenings at no cost, and families will be provided with health referrals and referrals for emergency services whenever needed. Helps students identify choice and make effective decisions about their adult lives, which requires substantial planning. RHD-RI School Services, is committed to supporting students and their families to ensure a successful transition from school based services to adulthood. Works in collaboration with schools, families and host employers to create opportunities that address the goals and objectives embedded in a student’s IEP while assisting them with the completion of their Career Development Plan. Resources for Human Development-RI helps adults with developmental disabilities reach their goals. With a strong focus on the arts, RHD works with its Participants to develop new skills, become more integrated in the local community and explore a variety of employment opportunities. RHD also contracts directly with a number of school departments around the state to provide supports for students too young for adult services.

TSARI tries to define the needs of Rhode Islanders with Tourette Syndrome and their families to design services for them. It is a neurological disorder characterized by tics-involuntary, rapid, sudden movements and/or vocal outbursts that occur repeatedly.
