Parents as Teachers provides: Personal Visits—Your Parent Educator will share age-appropriate child development and parenting information, help you learn to observe your child, and address your parenting concerns. Assisted Daily Living, Inc. provides clients with a wide array of services designed to ensure superior patient care in the familiar comfort of home, often providing a happier and more affordable alternative to nursing, or assisted living facilities. Services can be arranged for a few hours a week or around the clock. ADL begins by reviewing the specific needs of the client through discussions with family members, as well as the care recipient's doctor, social workers or therapists. A customized program of care is developed to manage the client's daily needs. ADL will match the clients needs to the best possible caregiver, based on both professional experience and on ability characteristics. Burrillville Historical & Preservation Society mission is to preserve and protect Burrillville’s history. They hold monthly meetings with educational programs, a yearly open house/yard sale/book sale/bake sale and other special events during the year. LIHEAP:Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, offers assistance with managing costs associated with home energy bills. Tri-County is able to help with paying fuel and utility bills during the winter months for eligible clients, and we can arrange for the installation of home insulation to reduce home-heating costs (gas, electric, propane, oil, kerosene or wood) through our weatherization program. Eligible clients must meet income guidelines.

The Animal Control Officers work out of the South Kingstown Public Safety Building. Animal Control's mission is to enforce all Town and State Laws pertaining to domestic animals and to ensure that all animals in the Town of South Kingstown are treated humanely. Public/Humane education in regard to the proper treatment and care of animals plays a large role in helping to ensure animals are properly cared for. Animal Control Officers are also first responders to calls concerning possible rabid animals. Animal Control handles 1,400-1,500 complaints a year.
