The Ocean Tides School Providence Campus is an alternative day school for students in grades seven through twelve. Offering a full high school Rhode Island Regents diploma, the school is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Additionally, the Providence Campus offers a certified special education program and a career/technical education program. The student body at the Providence Campus is comprised of students referred by their school district for educational purposes (both regular and special education) and career/technical training. Each candidate is screened by the Director of Special Education and the Principal before admittance to ensure the student is ready and willing to enter the program. Given the severe educational difficulties these students have experienced in the past, Ocean Tides seeks to provide creative, individualized programs that meet the needs of all students. Educational programs for the prevention and control of lung diseases such as tuberculosis, emphysema, asthma, flu and pneumonia and the reduction of cigarette smoking, air pollution and occupational health hazards. Offers quit smoking programs and support; educational and support groups for adults with asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis and their families and for children with asthma.

The UCP Rhode Island Children & Family Services program provides services to children with disabilities and their families under Rhode Island's Home Based Therapeutic Services Program (HBTS). Medicaid eligible children (up to age 21) are provided comprehensive periodic evaluations to supplement the treatment of various medical conditions. Works with families to develop service plans for their children and assists the families to secure HBTS funding. Once a plan is approved, UCPRI provides case management and services, therapies, and training for the child and family. The object is to apply individualized services that permit the child to live at home and take an active part in school and community. UCPRI�s services may help relieve some of the financial strains that make raising a child with disabilities so stressful to both the family and child. Other Children & Family Services:

• CAP (Community Activities Project) provides financial support enabling children with disabilities to participate in community and recreational activities.

Provides information, referral and advocacy to families with children who have special needs. UCPRI will assist families in identifying their needs (home health care, learning, recreation) and work with them to secure funding. Adult Education: UCP Rhode Island�s Adult Education Community Classrooms meet throughout RI. Instruction is individualized, based on the personal learning goals of each student. Most classes meet for 3 hours a week for 12 weeks. Provides counseling for individuals and families for adoption, anxiety or fears, attention deficit (ADHD), child or adolescent, depression, divorce, life coaching, loss or grief, obsessive-compulsive (OCD), oppositional defiance, parenting, peer relationships, self esteem, sleep or insomnia, teen violence, trauma and PTSD, and impulse control and mood disorders. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be scheduled weekly, biweekly or monthly. LIHEAP:Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, offers assistance with managing costs associated with home energy bills. Tri-County is able to help with paying fuel and utility bills during the winter months for eligible clients, and we can arrange for the installation of home insulation to reduce home-heating costs (gas, electric, propane, oil, kerosene or wood) through our weatherization program. Eligible clients must meet income guidelines.

The General Nathanael Greene Homestead is a National Historic Landmark located in Coventry, Rhode Island. Known as Spell Hall, it was the home of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene from 1770 to 1783, and was owned afterwards by his brother Jacob Greene and his wife Margaret. The house is owned and operated by the General Nathanael Greene Homestead Association, a non-profit organization, and was opened as a museum.

A state-of-the-art skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation center, Pine Grove Health Center has been an important part of the path from hospital to home for thousands of people looking to recover or rehabilitate as quickly and comfortably as possible from accident or illness. The interdisciplinary care team also helps manage chronic, long term conditions like respiratory illness or multiple sclerosis, in a setting that mirrors the comforts of home. Our specialized ventilator unit is one of only two units of its kind in Rhode Island.
