Omni Point Apartments consists two buildings with a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom family housing. Omni Point offers 51 units of housing to the Providence area. All apartments are designated for low-to-moderate income families.

The Fogarty Center provides a variety of Employment & Day Supports to many of the people from its residential and other community settings. The Fogarty Center offers individual Person-Centered services for job seekers with intellectual/developmental disabilities by offering a comprehensive progression of employment-related services. These services include; Discovery, Career Exploration, Job Trial/Assessment, Placement, Job Coaching and Monitoring. The Fogarty Center also supports adults by planning meaningful activities throughout the day, based on personal preference, within a variety of settings including day programs as well as locations within the community. Day services are provided on an individual 1:1 basis and/or group settings.

Outpatient programs are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Based at Providence Public Library, Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative (RIFLI) is a free, nationally recognized ESL, citizenship preparation, workforce development and family literacy program for adults based at public libraries throughout Rhode Island.

A health screening is a test done to find a condition before symptoms begin. Screening tests help find diseases and conditions early, when they are easier to treat. Routine health screenings are recommended for people throughout life as an important part of preventive care. Rhode Island has a number of programs in place to help people of all ages get needed health screenings. Since its founding during the campaign to pass the landmark Clean Water Act in 1972, Clean Water Action has worked to win strong health and environmental protections by bringing issue expertise, solution-oriented thinking and people power to the table. The mission of CWA is to protect the environment, health, economic well-being and community quality of life. Clean Water Action organizes strong grassroots groups and coalitions, and campaigns to elect environmental candidates and to solve environmental and community problems.

Through various programs and workshops, this handicapped accessible museum promotes the value of tolerance and diversity. Educating the public about the Holocaust, this small museum and library offers group tours and community programs such as lectures, exhibits and films.

The Watershed Council is directly involved in monitoring three sites on the lower river. The water quality of many of the lakes and ponds in the upper part of the watershed is also monitored under the URI Watershed Watch program by volunteers not associated with Watershed Council. The data for all of the Watershed Watch sites are available on the Watershed Watch web site. The sites monitored by Watershed Council volunteers are: Greystone Mill Pond, Johnston/North Providence; Rising Sun Dam, near Donigian Park, Providence; Waterplace Park, Providence. Volunteers measure: Dissolved Oxygen; Water Temperature; Weather; Salinity; Bacteria; Nutrients

The Providence Center School is a special education school for students in preschool through grade 12 diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders

Provides free ESL, ABE, Pre-GED, and GED classes. The Center is an official GED testing site. Testing fee applies. Another program offered is the External Diploma Program, a competency based program. In addition, we offer vocational training programs and adult education courses. Vocational Training for Adults is a great opportunity to further current employment skills or challenge yourself for a career change. Taught by certified instructors, skill sets will be taught by a hands-on approach. Students will be instructed with up-to-date standards, procedures and practices needed in today's workforce. ​

The Foundation's mission is to provide dynamic educational, experiential learning and personal growth opportunities on a maritime theme to people of all ages. The Foundation operates the tall ship, the Continental Sloop, Providence, built in 1976 to honor the original vessel that was one of the first ships christened in the American Navy. The ship was the first command of John Paul Jones and it played a key role in the American Revolution.

Early Intervention works in partnership with families to promote the growth and development of infants and toddlers. Our services help children from birth to three years of age who have or may have a disability, are experiencing developmental delay, or are at risk for significant developmental problems. Early Intervention consists of a multidisciplinary team, which works in partnership with families. The team works diligently to provide services that are respectful of a family’s values, incorporating strategies into a child’s natural environments – meaning everyday life routines and places. All services are family-centered and individualized to ensure the most successful outcomes for a child and their family.

Easy Bay- (East Providence) Provides: behavioral health services ranging from emergency services, general and intensive community-based outpatient treatment, substance use treatment, and other services.

Confidential safe home and transitional housing programs for abused women and their children who are homeless due to domestic violence.

Tides is a non-traditional agency, unlike any other. Their “No-walls” philosophy puts them in the heart of neighborhoods where clients live—the most distressed and poverty-stricken areas of Rhode Island. Community-based programs service these youth, aged 6-21, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Programs include strength-based counseling, structured recreation, cognitive behavioral therapy, after-school programming and two small, licensed schools. Supports seniors and those with disabilities by providing opportunities for socialization, recreation, nutrition, education, information and referral, volunteering, health & fitness and all aspects of social services. They offer a full calendar of activities, including card games, bocce, walking, arts & crafts, yoga, exercise, Zumba, line dancing, bocce, bingo, and gardening (seasonally). They sponsor multiple field trips per month and educational presentations. The Social Services Office provides a wide range of resources, help and services to members of their community including SNAP/EBT applications, housing applications, heating assistance, Medicare, property tax relief and other case-by-case needs. AARP Yearly Tax Preparation is held February through April, by appointment only.
