ONE Neighborhood Builders is a nonprofit community development organization dedicated to revitalizing Providence neighborhoods. Olneyville Housing Corporation, founded in 1988, changed its name to ONE Neighborhood Builders when it merged with Community Works Rhode Island in 2015. To date, we have developed 375 affordable apartments and over 115 for-sale homes, as well as more than 50,000 square feet of commercial and community space. These spaces include many properties that were formerly foreclosed and blighted in addition to historic buildings that ONE|NB works to preserve, saving landmarks while creating vibrant spaces to work and live.

Based at Providence Public Library, Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative (RIFLI) is a free, nationally recognized ESL, citizenship preparation, workforce development and family literacy program for adults based at public libraries throughout Rhode Island.

The Narragansett Emergency Management Agency is responsible for the town's planning, response, recovery and mitigation of natural disasters, technological accidents, terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. Programs that offer the services of trained homemakers who go into the homes of families whose routines have been disrupted by long or short-term illness, disability or other problems, and assume responsibility for routine household activities including menu planning, budgeting, shopping, child care, meal preparation, laundry and general household management including light housekeeping.

The Adult Basic Education program includes academic assessments, classes for GED exam preparation, Adult Basic Education, post secondary educational assistance, and alternative diploma programs.

Branch Apartments is a 3 story, 18 unit, subsidized housing facility with 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

Charlesgate Park Apartment offers 100 subsidized housing units for the elderly and disabled. Eight of the units are handicapped accessible. Affordable rents include heat, water, electricity, and general maintenance.
