The Ocean Tides School Providence Campus is an alternative day school for students in grades seven through twelve. Offering a full high school Rhode Island Regents diploma, the school is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Additionally, the Providence Campus offers a certified special education program and a career/technical education program. The student body at the Providence Campus is comprised of students referred by their school district for educational purposes (both regular and special education) and career/technical training. Each candidate is screened by the Director of Special Education and the Principal before admittance to ensure the student is ready and willing to enter the program. A federally funded program that works to improve the health of elderly people age 60 and older who meet income eligibility requirements by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods. The program provides food and administrative funds to states, typically departments of health, social services, education or agriculture. The state agencies store CSFP food and distribute it to local public and private, nonprofit organizations that determine the eligibility of applicants, distribute the food, and provide nutrition education.

Clothing closet

Free, confidential, one-to-one literacy tutoring in reading, writing and English to East Bay adults. We teach basic literacy skills, GED skills, and ESL (English as a Second Language) skills. Volunteers test and tutor students, serve on our board, maintain our mailing lists, man our computer lab and other tasks.

The Living Supplies Closet provides items not available with food stamps such as paper products, diapers, personal hygiene items with referral from social service agency only. Clients can come once every six weeks (42 days).

Programs that provide care and supervision in a protective setting for dependent adults living in the community during some portion of a 24-hour day. Services may include social and recreational activities, training that is essential for sustaining activities of daily living, hot meals, as appropriate and, if an adult day health care center, health and related services.

Adult day program for the elderly and disabled that offers a six week health education program called Take Control of Your Health. Nutritional meal provided at noon and two daily snacks, senior advocacy program, daily fitness program, leisure activities, RIDE program for transportation, and a social worker on staff. Individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, memory loss are especially encouraged to attend the Center because their program is specifically designed for these health conditions.

This collaboration greatly enhances the effectiveness of deployment and response coordinated through the state's incident command system. There are three different programs within RI Responds.
