The DaVinci Center has contracted with the Social Security Administration to assist beneficiaries of SSI and SSDI residing in Rhode Island to obtain gainful paid employment. SSI and SSDI recipients have disabilities that make it difficult for them to obtain employment. Under the Ticket to Work Program, The DaVinci Center is prepared to offer these recipients whatever services they require that will enable them to find suitable paid jobs. These services include a comprehensive assessment; drafting of resumes and cover letters; job readiness skills; job search activities and job retention services.

Concentra provides physical therapy services to patients, regardless of how the injury occurred. Many patients come to Concentra after a work-related injury, and works directly with the physician to develop a treatment plan to return them to full-function and back to work in a timely manner.

The public education branch of the Fire Prevention Bureau is responsible for teaching public safety to the citizens of Providence. At no charge, public educators speak to businesses, organizations, schools and at special events about the importance of fire safety. English for Speakers of Other Languages(ESOL)/English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction is provided on year-round basis. Classes are offered in the daytime, evenings, or Saturdays. Classes are offered at both our campuses. Students are placed into one of three levels English coursework depending on their English proficiency. Focus is on English Communicative skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing - in order to increase students' interpersonal communications skills, decision-making skills, and problem-solving skills.

To preserve, restore and create affordable housing opportunities and to promote community economic development fostering a healthy, economically vibrant and diverse community. ONE Neighborhood Builders is a nonprofit community development organization dedicated to revitalizing Providence neighborhoods. Olneyville Housing Corporation, founded in 1988, changed its name to ONE Neighborhood Builders when it merged with Community Works Rhode Island in 2015. To date, we have developed 375 affordable apartments and over 115 for-sale homes, as well as more than 50,000 square feet of commercial and community space. These spaces include many properties that were formerly foreclosed and blighted in addition to historic buildings that ONE|NB works to preserve, saving landmarks while creating vibrant spaces to work and live.

Camp Ruggles is Rhode Island’s therapeutic summer day camp program for children ages 6-12, who are clinically diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Our program is designed specifically for children with significant difficulties in these areas who cannot succeed in a regular camp environment.

Early Intervention works in partnership with families to promote the growth and development of infants and toddlers. Our services help children from birth to three years of age who have or may have a disability, are experiencing developmental delay, or are at risk for significant developmental problems. Early Intervention consists of a multidisciplinary team, which works in partnership with families. The team works diligently to provide services that are respectful of a family’s values, incorporating strategies into a child’s natural environments – meaning everyday life routines and places. All services are family-centered and individualized to ensure the most successful outcomes for a child and their family.

Treatment Foster Care: Licensed foster families provide a structured and therapeutic family environment for children and youth who can safely be placed in the community but who cannot live with their biological families. The program utilizes a team based approach to help foster parents meet the emotional & behavioral needs of the children placed in their homes.
