Develops and provides rental and ownership housing opportunities to low and moderate income persons. CCHS owns and manages rental property, provides ownership training, develops homes for sale through a community land trust program and provides home rehabilitation loan funds to existing community homeowners. It also assists municipalities with community revitalization projects. Units include Anthony House, Belleville House, Fifty Washington Square, Freedom Apartments, Harbor House, Mumford Manor, Sandywoods Farm, Villa Nia, and West House.

The mission of the College Crusade is to prepare and inspire young people in Rhode Island to become the first in their families to attend and complete college. Our organization supports approximately 4,000 students in middle school, high school, and college each year. We enroll sixth graders who attend public and public charter schools in Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Woonsocket, and West Warwick. From the time they join through their early years of college, Crusaders experience the steady, nurturing presence of caring adults and participate year-round in programs that focus on academic enrichment, social and personal development, career awareness and exploration, and preparation for college. Provides scholarships and mentoring to children of currently and formerly incarcerated parents in order to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty, crime and addiction that too often threatens them. The substance abuse task force identifies and addressed the issue of substance abuse in the city and its mission is to develop, implement, and advocate for effective community-based prevention initiatives.

Residential facility for adult males, 18+, recovering from substance abuse addiction. Intensive day program as well as intensive non-residential evening program for adult/adolescent males/females. Outpatient substance abuse counseling and group therapy. Also provides counseling for domestic violence, gambling, and anger management services for men, women and children over six. Westbay Farm is a three-acre farm, growing 15,000 pounds of organic vegetables each year. Its largest crops are lettuce, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and squash. The farm provides fresh produce to the Westbay Marketplace food pantry, expanding the nutritious choices for our clients in Warwick, West Warwick and East Greenwich. Farm produce is also available to the public at our summer Farm Stands

The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center offers a unique and innovative career and technical program to all high school aged children in Rhode Island. The Mission of Met School-Metropolitan Regional Career & Technical Center is to educate and empower youth through relentless commitment to student-centered learning and personal growth.

Burlingame State Park state area offers 50 fireplaces, toilets, drinking water, a swimming beach and a nearby DEM boat launch for boating and fishing.

The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County works toward a future free from violence. They work collaboratively to offer safety, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to residents of Washington County. DVRCSC has a confidential safe home for women who face homelessness as a result of domestic violence. Additional services include a Drop-In Advocacy Center, Support Groups and One-on-One Counseling by appointment. They offer education and outreach on the subject of healthy relationships, dating violence, cyber stalking and techno-abuse. DVRCSC can provide Court Advocates at McGrath Judicial Complex in Wakefield.

Adopt-A-Spot on the Bike Path: The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council is looking for groups or individuals to adopt portions of the bike-path to keep it safe and well maintained. Adopting a portion of the path will get you a free t-shirt, litter pick, garbage bags and gloves, a listing on the website, and the satisfaction of making the bike path even more of an asset to the community. You will commit to conduct a weekly cleanup of your section and to be the "eyes and ears" of the path, checking in with Watershed Council when necessary to notify them of problems or issues that you or your group may not be able to deal with such as a fallen tree, graffiti removal, damaged planting etc. Multiple people can adopt the same site. A business can adopt a spot and a sign will be placed along the bike path acknowledging their adoption of that spot.

CCAP’s Employment, Training, and Education Programs assist the youth of Rhode Island ages 14 – 24 through free education, training programs, work readiness workshops, and job placement assistance. They provide a full range of services to youth enrolled in-school and out-of-school. All enrollees are connected with a case manager to assist them in their education or employment goals throughout the program. Cash incentives are given to those who qualify. There are four Youth Centers throughout the state.

The Tri-County Community Action Agency Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides supplemental foods, healthcare referrals and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. Upon enrollment into the WIC program, we will complete a nutritional assessment for you and your eligible family members. We will then offer education on healthy eating, monthly vouchers for nutritious foods including eggs, milk, cheese, peanut butter, beans, tuna, fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads, rice, iron fortified cereals, and juice as well as many other valuable resources. We also maintain the state's central voter registration system and promote voter registration. Business Services The Business Services Division works to provide you with the resources need to begin, maintain, and grow your business. As the official repository for business and commercial records, we maintain the records of over 65,000 registered corporate entities. State Archives, Library and Public Information The State Archives, State Library, and Public Information Division works to ensure that Rhode Islanders have easy access to government records and publications, state laws, information about legislative sessions, agency regulations, and the structures of state government. There are four units that comprise the Division—the State Archives and The Public Records Administration, the State Library, the Office of Public Information, and the Administrative Rules Office. The State Archives and Public Records Administration ensures that our state’s historic documents are preserved and made accessible to the public. It also oversees a statewide Records Management program to support state agencies and local governments. The State Library assists lawmakers and the public with current and historical research, and serves as the legislative library for the State. The Office of Public Information ensures and strengthens government transparency and accessibility through the publication of meeting minutes and agendas, registration and reporting of lobbying relationships, and disclosures of appointments to State Boards and Commissions. The Administrative Rules Office manages rules and regulations filed with the Department of State by state agencies. Collectively, these units work to ensure that information is transparent, accessible, and available to all Rhode Islanders. Finance & Personnel The Finance & Personnel Division provides human resource support to the employees who work for the Department of State. The Finance & Personnel Division is responsible for managing the budget and vendor relations. eGovernment and Information Technology Division The eGov and IT Division is responsible for ensuring that Rhode Islanders are able to access public records through the Department of State's website and other electronic avenues. The eGov and IT Division maintains the Department of State's infrastructure for internal and public users and provides data sharing capabilities to state agencies throughout Rhode Island.

Problem Gambling Services of Rhode Island (PGSRI) offers programs and supports to individuals with gambling disorders. Funded by the Rhode Island Lottery and coordinated by CODAC, PGSRI provide individual assessment and referral to multiple providers throughout the state, including CODAC’s sites. For clients who are un- or underinsured, funding for 100% of treatment is provided through the RI Lottery. It is CODAC’s standard practice to screen all patients for disordered gambling. When we identify a patient as being a current or potential disordered gambler we offer them an assessment and referral to one of CODAC’s on-site specialists for individual counseling treatment. All CODAC clinicians have attended at least two trainings on the disorder. They also receive ongoing supervision and consultation from a Certified Gambling Addiction Specialist prior to delivering services.
