CODAC East Bay, serving East Providence, Barrington, Warren, Pawtucket and surrounding areas, treats more than 350 patients weekly. Programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD), intensified treatment programs (IOP), general outpatient treatment (GO) for alcohol and other substance use, behavioral healthcare services, tobacco cessation programs, and services for gambling addiction. CODAC East Bay, along with all other CODAC locations, has been awarded the designation of Center of Excellence (COE) for the treatment of opioid use disorder. As a designated COE, they have met or exceeded the highest standards of care (as determined by RI state agencies), are able to provide expedited access to treatment, and offer at least two of the three FDA approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder (methadone, buprenorphine (SuboxoneTM, SubutexTM) and oral and depot naltrexone (VivitrolTM). CODAC sites are currently the only providers in RI authorized to dispense all three of these medications. As a COE, CODAC guarantees that treatment will begin within 48 hours of your first phone call. In addition to individual counseling, CODAC East Bay offers a rich and comprehensive selection of group counseling opportunities, including groups for pre- and post-partum women; early recovery patients; co-occurring patients; DUI referrals; tobacco cessation and problem gambling patients; anger management referrals; and groups for adolescents. Offerings change over time to reflect shifting patient needs and interests.

Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island offers reduced or no charge services for emergency and other medically necessary care for individuals eligible under our Financial Assistance Policy. Eligibility is based on the Hospital’s Financial Assistance Policy, which includes using the Federal Poverty Level guidelines, number of dependents, and gross annual income along with supportive income documents.

Services: Provides outpatient rehabilitation programs to people of all ages with a wide range of functional disabilities caused by accident, illness, or developmental delay. District Court handle cases regarding Administrative Appeals, Civil, Criminal, Landlord/Tenant, Small Claims, and Veterans Treatment.

A wide range of human and educational services across Rhode Island including outpatient/office-based program provides mental health counseling as well as medical services from psychiatrists. Substance abuse counselors provide treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues; treatment for family members affected by their loved one's addiction is also available. Westbay’s Supportive Housing Program operates 6 subsidized rental units in Warwick and West Warwick. A case manager links tenants to services at Westbay and at other agencies. The case manager meets with them regularly to help with basic skills and support. The goal of the program is to help tenants achieve independence.

Services: A social change group made up of survivors of domestic violence and a task force from the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence. We work to address issues that affect the lives of women after leaving abusive relationships.
