North Smithfield Emergency Management Agency implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The NSEMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties. In Emergenies tune to: local TV, Cox Cable channel 17; local radio stations WOON 1240 AM or WNRI 1380 AM; Northern Rhode Island REACT on citizens band channel 9.
