Clinical Oversight - consultation and assessment, observation and clinical work around visits, assistance with coordination of supports and help with parenting skill building. Family Recovery Coaching - support with the recovery process, information and resource connections and help navigating the child welfare system. Hospital charity care requirements cover those essential services necessary to diagnose, correct, or cure a medical condition that endangers life, causes pain and suffering, results in illness or infirmity, or causes a physical deformity or malfunction. Both inpatient and outpatient services are included. To receive full charity care, patients annual family income must be up to and including 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For partial charity care, patients annual family income must be between 200% and 300% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive assistance based on a sliding scale. In addition to income, hospitals have the option to consider other assets. Also must be denied from Medicaid first depending on income. Scalabrini Villa collaborates with many different Hospice agencies to provide a variety of choices. Provides specialized palliative care and end of life services affording comfort and support to residents who are no longer seeking active treatment and have a life expectancy of months or weeks. The focus of the Hospice team and the Villa staff is the physical and emotional support to both the resident and their family members. Members of your hospice team at Scalabrini Villa may include physicians, a hospice doctor or medical director, skilled nurses, home health aides, social workers, mental health providers, trained volunteers, clergy and with special authorization could include: physical, occupational and speech therapists.
