Provides advocacy in court for the best interests of children who are the victims of abuse and/or neglect and are therefore involved with the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and the Rhode Island Family Court. Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a home based program that supports parents by teaching them the skills they need to teach their children and enhance their development and also supports families with monthly community activities and family events.
