EBCAP’s Community Programs are designed to help people to reach their full potential. It is their goal to create the bridge to self-reliance. Their programs improve lives through education, skills training, and clinical care when needed. A program like Baby Steps is a great place for parents to learn how their child develops. Their Home Energy Assistance Program helps those who can’t afford to heat their homes. Through the Congregate Nutrition Program, seniors received a healthy warm meal through their local Senior Centers. Head Start Programs teach the importance of a child’s healthy development so they can grow and thrive! The AmeriCorps Foster Grandparent Program offers a way for individuals 55 and older to stay active by serving children and youth in communities while providing a unique service built on the natural bond between generations. Their AmeriCorps East Bay Retired and Senior Volunteer Program places individuals 55 and older volunteering in many programs and nonprofits in the East Bay area. Their Volunteer Income Tax Program (VITA) provides fee tax preparation for income eligible individuals. Education and Career Pathways helps with educational goals, job readiness skills and improved career options. Their food pantries offer twice monthly food distribution. Senior Services provides options and resources to help income eligible seniors remain in the community. Satellite location of EBCAP. Food Pantry Victims of Crime Act- Advocacy for Crime Victims Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Feeding and Nutrition Program provides food vouchers, allowing them to purchase milk, eggs, cheese, juice and iron fortified cereals and formula. The WIC coordinator provides nutrition education and counseling to all program participants on a monthly basis.

A wide range of human and educational services across Rhode Island including outpatient/office-based program provides mental health counseling as well as medical services from psychiatrists. Substance abuse counselors provide treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues; treatment for family members affected by their loved one's addiction is also available. Omni Point Apartments consists two buildings with a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom family housing. Omni Point offers 51 units of housing to the Providence area. All apartments are designated for low-to-moderate income families.

Donovan Manor provides information on all nine Newport Housing Authority units, which include low-income elderly, disabled, and family housing. Elderly and Disabled Units: Donovan Manor, Earl Ave, Pond Ave, Edgar Court, Coddington Manor, Chapel Terrace Low-Rise and DeBlois Street Apartments. Family units: Chapel Terrace and Park Holm.

You will have access to highly trained, experiences, licensed, caring professionals – who see that you are so much more that your current addiction. CODAC has been Rhode Island’s partners in recovery since 1971. We are proud of the high professional regard in which our administrative, clinical and medical staff is held in the opioid treatment community. Our programs have been recognized both nationally and at the state level for consistently exceeding standards in the delivery of medication assisted treatment. Child Outreach is a free service offered to all children 3 to 5 years old. Child Outreach provides information about your child’s development and resources that are available within your community. It can also help identify children who may need further assessment, intervention and/ or services at an early age to promote positive outcomes in kindergarten and beyond.

Caregiver Support Group Recent participants from Alzheimer's clinical trials and anyone looking for information on caring for your loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer's, Memory Loss or other forms of dementia are encouraged to attend.
