Services: New England's largest community college with five campuses, two satellites and a training and technology center offers educational opportunities for all Rhode Island residents. Tall Ships America is a nonprofit organization focused on youth education, leadership development and the preservation of the maritime heritage of North America. The Tall Ships Challenge Series of international sailing races, cruises, and maritime festivals is organized by Tall Ships America in cooperation with Great Lakes, Atlantic and Pacific Coast port cities in the United States and Canada. Tall ships are crewed by young people and adults engaged in sail training programs under the supervision of captains and professional crew members. Maritime festivals in each host port give visitors a chance to board the vessels, meet the crew and trainees, and experience the rich maritime heritage that these ships represent.

The Ocean Tides School Providence Campus is an alternative day school for students in grades seven through twelve. Offering a full high school Rhode Island Regents diploma, the school is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Additionally, the Providence Campus offers a certified special education program and a career/technical education program. The student body at the Providence Campus is comprised of students referred by their school district for educational purposes (both regular and special education) and career/technical training. Each candidate is screened by the Director of Special Education and the Principal before admittance to ensure the student is ready and willing to enter the program. Given the severe educational difficulties these students have experienced in the past, Ocean Tides seeks to provide creative, individualized programs that meet the needs of all students. Students are involved in areas such as: Culinary Arts, Carpentry/Woodworking, Landscape Design, Engineering, and Technology. Food Pantry

An adult facility that trains students from a great diversity of many populations. The training programs focus on four main areas:

Easy Bay- (East Providence) Provides: behavioral health services ranging from emergency services, general and intensive community-based outpatient treatment, substance use treatment, and other services.

RIWS provides artists and the general public the opportunity to view, purchase, exhibit and learn about water media art. Offers classes, workshops and demonstrations by nationally and regionally acclaimed artists. RIWS also organizes educational trips to art exhibitions.

Occupational Therapy offered to help with regular activities like bathing, meal preparation, and housekeeping after an injury or illness.

Technology Demonstrations- TechACCESS provides in-person or virtual demonstrations (up to 1 hour) of assistive technology to the public. Appointments are required. Demonstrations are provided based on tools identified by the individual.

Outpatient addiction treatment involves one-on-one counseling sessions to help patients overcome alcohol or drug dependence. Clinicians use the most effective therapy methods to identify and resolve issues that have led to substance use. A federally licensed non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Rhode Island community with blood and blood components. The Center has an active tissue typing laboratory which supports bone marrow transplantation and parentage testing. The Rhode Island Blood Center is a donor center for the National Marrow Donor Program and has an active Pheresis Program.

The Center for Workforce & Community Education offers ESL classes designed to give students an understanding of the basics of the English language. The goal of the program is to help speakers of other languages achieve a level of English proficiency which will enable them to function better in everyday living, enter a job training program, improve performance at a job site, and/or pursue further education.

Preventive dental care (such as brushing and diet/nutrition recommendations); regular cleaning and fluoride treatments; and use of sealants to prevent cavities. Dr. Paquin also may: Provide mouth guards (to prevent sports injuries) Provide or recommend special preventive care to safeguard against problems, such as teething and gum disease Offer habit counseling (e.g., thumb sucking, pacifier use) Offer assessment and treatment for teeth straightening and improper bite in the young child (orthodontics) Repair tooth cavities and/or defects Diagnose oral conditions associated with diseases such as diabetes, congenital heart defects, asthma and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder Diagnose and treat dental developmental difficulties (e.g., root canals on adult teeth that have not fully formed) Provide management of gum diseases and conditions, such as pediatric periodontal disease, ulcers and tongue-tie (when the membrane that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth is shorter than normal. If tongue-tie interferes with breastfeeding, can clip the membrane to release the tongue) Care for dental injuries (e.g., fractured or knocked-out teeth)
