Generations is a day facility providing services to meet the needs of adults with disabilities and the elderly. The Mission of Generations is to provide an array of services/supports responsive to the needs of participants and the personalized goals and objectives within their individual Plans. The focus is to inspire and support each person to make individual choices to increase their independence, build their self-esteem, maintain good health, learn new skills and to live a meaningful and productive life. THE SCITUATE ANIMAL SHELTER is a municipal facility under the supervision of Scituate Animal Control, a division of the Scituate, Rhode Island Police Department. They take in animals from Scituate and Foster and provide care until we can find good homes for them. They also socialize all cats and dogs who need such work in order to be ready for life in a home and with a family. The shelter staff and the volunteers will go to great lengths to find homes for all animals that we have at the shelter.

Founded in 1971, CODAC Behavioral Healthcare is Rhode Island’s oldest and largest non-profit, outpatient provider of treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). With seven community-based locations, as well as programming at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RI DOC), CODAC is well-positioned to deliver services wherever they are needed across the state. CODAC offers psychiatric and mental health services at all of their locations. After an initial intake screening you may be referred to an on-site psychiatric practitioner for further evaluation and treatment. Individualized treatment and recovery plans might include medication management supervised by the psychiatric practitioner and ongoing co-occurring counseling with clinical staff. It is not unusual to have both mental health disorders and a substance use disorder. Because the two conditions are so closely linked, CODAC has responded to offer you effective treatment and recovery programs to address both disorders concurrently.

The Wakefield Oasis is an affiliate of the Mental Health Consumer Advocates of Rhode Island, Inc. This non-profit statewide advocacy, education, and socialization center empowers adults who have experienced psychiatric symptoms or who receive mental health services.
