Services: Houses 29 families and 8 women daily. Shelter stays are limited to 90 days but can be renewed based on progress demonstrated by participants or impending permanent housing. Case managers assist participants with healthcare, employment and establishing permanent housing. Help also available for: mental health issues, addiction, developmental delays in children, parenting and domestic violence. Case managers access services directly through Family Resources Community Action Program or collaborative agreements with other local non profit organizations.

A wide range of human and educational services across Rhode Island including outpatient/office-based program provides mental health counseling as well as medical services from psychiatrists. Substance abuse counselors provide treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues; treatment for family members affected by their loved one's addiction is also available. Individual treatment and group therapy are available. Income Source: RIte Care, Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, grants, government contracts, United Way, private donations.

McAuley House also offers a host of support services such as rental assistance, toiletries, clothing, prescription assistance, transportation means, obtaining personal documentation, and referrals to housing and other medical or vocational resources. Guests also are invited to participate in a number of enrichment programs, which provide support, healing and engagement.

Assists women and families with material needs and referrals for an unplanned or crisis pregnancy.

Pro-life organization offering support to mothers in crisis or unplanned pregnancies. Services offered include Pregnancy tests, Ultrasounds, 24-hour hotline support, Facts on fetal development, Referrals for available social services and prenatal care, Spiritual help, Baby clothing and items and Post-abortion advisory.

Provides work clothing at no cost to low-income men and women who are completing job training and education programs, and seeking employment.

Babies Warm and Wealth Clients can come once a month Items include: diapers, wipes, baby food, formula

Provide low-income individuals and community members going on job interviews with work appropriate clothing (including shoes, coats, accessories) free of charge.

Dress For Success provides women with professional attire to secure employment and the confidence and knowledge that is needed to be successful.

Family Support Center provides basic needs assistance to low income households and connects families to financial literacy and other programs to strengthen their financial condition. The Family Support Center serves low and moderate income Woonsocket residents depending on eligibility requirements for fund-specific programs.

Baby items include Clothing, Infant & Toddler car seats, Booster seats, High chairs, Diapers, Baby wipes, Lotions, bottles.

MAE's program was also established to empower the homeless to overcome the impact of trauma and promote personal growth. They will dress them for success when searching for employment.

Food and clothing closet for Blackstone Valley residents, need ID and last month's rent receipt. The Hospitality House Soup Kitchen provides nourishing hot meals to those in need every Tue 11:30AM - 12:30PM.

Clothing distributed during meal on Friday at 4:00PM. Clothing closet held at 134 Mathewson Street.

134 Collaborative provides basic toiletries, used clothing and emergency bus tickets, as available, to those who are homeless, low income or attend programs on site. Public bathrooms are open to all when the building is open.

The Working Wardrobe is Westbay’s clothing collaborative. The program provides free work-appropriate clothing to low-income adults entering the workforce.

The Living Supplies Closet provides items not available with food stamps such as paper products, diapers, personal hygiene items with referral from social service agency only. Clients can come once every six weeks (42 days).

The BND Coat Exchange began over 20 years ago, annually occurring on Black Friday, Buy Nothing Day invites you to give rather than spend, and to repurpose rather than toss. Each Friday after Thanksgiving, those in need of warmth meet at donation sites around the state to receive gently-used winter gear.
