Senior Ride Programs | Westerly Senior Center
The town's transportation program operates each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to take people to local grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, etc.
Medical Rides: MTM is the State program for medical rides. To make reservations, call 1-855-330-9131. Center Van: The Center van is available Tuesday- Thursday for shopping, hairdresser, barber, banking, and nursing home visits. Contact Edie Jacobson, the Transportation Coordinator to make a reservation .

*** Low income persons with a disability or age 65 and above may ride free of charge with a RIPTA NO FARE ID PASS. All other persons age 65 and above or with a disability pay full fare during RIPTA peak hours of service (7:00AM - 9:00AM and 3:00PM - 6:00PM on weekdays) and pay 1/2 fare all other times upon presentation of a RIPTA Senior/Disabled ID Pass or a Medicare ID Card. City of Warwick’s Transwick service provides transportation services to otherwise homebound Warwick residents 55 and older who are living independently, as well as adults with disabilities living independently. Transwick addresses the transportation needs of those without alternate means of transportation or other opportunities for socialization. This service is limited to certain destinations within the City of Warwick and is not intended to supplement, extend, or subsidize services provided by other vendors or for-profit institutions.
The following is a list of all of the destinations you may reach through the Transwick program based on availability: Weekly grocery shopping, Pharmacy Transportation, Health screenings and social service programs at Warwick's senior center, Monthly retail shopping, All recreational and educational programs at the city's senior and community centers.
