Primrose Hill School is an elementary school in Barrington, Rhode Island, that includes pre-kindergarden through grade three. Primrose school consists of over three hundred terrific students, fourteen dynamic classroom teachers and another twenty-five dedicated specialists, resource persons and support personnel. Our learning community is further strengthened by a supportive parent community, an active PTO, caring volunteers and citizens committed to education.

The UCAP School was established for middle school children who are at risk of dropping out of school because they have fallen behind a grade or more. UCAP offers an accelerated program that provides the academic and social skills these children need to succeed in school.

The mission of the Rockwell School in partnership with the learning community is to provide children with educational and social opportunities in an environment focused on individual needs and abilities while providing a foundation of skills that will enable students, to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens in an ever-changing world.

The Northern Rhode Island Collaborative (NRIC) is a non-profit educational service center committed to providing special education programs and educational services to partner school districts and community partners throughout northern Rhode Island. Foundations Academy (formerly the Regional Alternative Program): Provides special needs students - diagnosed with behavioral and emotional disorders - with an alternative to traditional schools. Foundations Academy (formerly the Specialized Alternative Program): Students who learn differently and have different abilities need the help and guidance of educators who are specially trained to develop and maximize those abilities. Educators in the Foundations Academy work to identify a student’s skills and their potential for learning new skills. Educators, parents and students then develop a progressive plan tailored to an individual’s educational needs and social well-being.

Anthony Carnevale Elementary School strive to educate students and assist them in realizing their full potential as responsible, productive, contributing members of society by providing an educational environment in which students are challenged, excellence is expected, and differences are valued.

Lawn School is a public school for students in grades 5-8. Jamestown School Department provides a rigorous, standards based curriculum with a balanced literacy program, real-world mathematics, hands-on science and civics education preparing students for 21st century learning. Jamestown schools have adopted computer science, coding and science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) based opportunities as key components of the curriculum. Currently both schools in the district have a fully furnished makerspace lab with 3-d printers, green screens and Edison robots.

The mission of Burrillville Middle School’s faculty and staff is to provide a safe, supportive and respectful school environment where all students are taught within a team model to be effective communicators, skilled problem solvers, independent learners and creative, healthy and courteous citizens.

The Block Island School is a friendly, positive, and secure place in which students learn and work. The faculty, staff, and parents have created an enriching environment where children can grow intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.
