Charter School Grades 9th-12th

Programs that provide a graded system of learning in a formal school setting from grades nine or 10 through 12 for adolescents who usually range in age from 13 or 14 to 18. High schools provide formal instruction for students who want to prepare themselves for further education at the college/university level as well as those who prefer to seek employment immediately after high school graduation. The curriculum for students who are planning to terminate their formal education focuses on vocational preparation whereas that for college/university-bound students focuses on providing the required number of hours of instruction in targeted subjects to enable them to meet college/university entrance requirements.

Providence Public High School

Cranston Area Career & Technical Center Department Offers Training in the areas of: Auqaculture, Child Developtment, CISCO Cyber Security & Digital Forensics, Computer Aided Design/Drafting, Culinary Arts, Entrepreneurship, Graphic Communications, Interactive Digital Media, Medical Pathways, Pre-Engineering/Robotics, and Residential Repair Remodeling & Construction.

Public charter high school founded to serve pregnant and parenting young adults. Serve 160 students in campuses located in Providence and Central Falls. While this school is designed to serve pregnant and parenting young adults, students from all backgrounds and from all communities in Rhode Island are welcome. Nowell partners with Children’s Workshop located at 151 Hunt Street to make childcare available to students on a first-come, first-served basis in emergencies.

East Greenwich High School strives to serve the needs and interests of every student by offering a wide variety of courses.
