Our Adult Basic Education program prepare students to pass the GED (and other high school equivalency programs) and proceed to college-level work and persist in their post-secondary education goals. Students receive developmental education courses in reading and math, as well as courses in writing and computer literacy, in order to first earn a high school equivalency diploma and then be prepared to enter college, a trade school, or a certificate program. The program also includes extensive academic and support services for students to help them reach their educational goals.

CCRI offers Official GED Testing Centers at the Flanagan Campus in Lincoln and Liston Campus in Providence. The new GED Test is designed to guide adult learners on the pathway to gain skills and knowledge to be successful in their academic and career futures. CCRI also offers GED Prep Classes for each part of the GED test.
