Couples' Shelter: The only emergency shelter in the state for couples without children, offers case management for four couples in scattered apartments. Women's Shelter: Shelters 41 women in 10 shared bedrooms, one wheelchair-accessible bedroom, a common space and outdoor patio.

The mission of the RISPCA is to protect and advocate for the rights and welfare of animals through legal, educational, legislative and investigative means. Emergency Shelter Clearinghouses | Coordinated Entry System (CES)

The Rhode Island Coordinated Entry System (CES) is a partnership of all of the homeless providers in the state and is initiative of the Rhode Island Continuum of Care. The day to day operations of this program are led by the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless including the call center and shelter and housing placement. Crossroads Rhode Island provides diversion assessments. CES is a standardized assessment and referral process that helps rapidly end each household's homelessness by connecting them with appropriate housing and resources as quickly as possible. THE SCITUATE ANIMAL SHELTER is a municipal facility under the supervision of Scituate Animal Control, a division of the Scituate, Rhode Island Police Department. A transitional housing program for male veterans. Vets may stay for up to 24 months and receive food and clothing, case management, education, and counseling services.
