We provide a family for children ages 10 to 18. Six to eight boys or girls live in each single-family home with a married couple called Family-Teachers®. In these homes, youth learn social and independent-living skills that help them find success in school and in their community.

**Holiday programs for clients ONLY. ** Seven adolescent programs, ages 10 to 18, that provide continually less restrictive services, both residential and outreach, within the same philosophical framework. Clients are offered the option of residential treatment, pre-independent living, group home, foster home and/or outreach worker.

Turning The Corner operates a network of group homes including a 30-day shelter and assessment program, a program for adolescents with development disabilities, two programs for adolescent males with abuse reactive issues, and a mental health wellness and recovery program. Treatment population includes a diverse cross-section of youth (including LBGTQ youth) with histories of abuse, neglect and trauma – some with developmental disabilities, complex psychiatric diagnoses, sexual offense charges, substance abuse issues, gang affiliation, and issues of domestic violence. All have parents or caregivers who are unable to provide safety and stability for the youth at the present time. TTC is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF). It’s also a member agency of the Rhode Island Council of Resource Providers (RICORP), for children, youth and families.

Includes therapy, prevention, education, seminars, workshops etc. Children are treated and cared for in the residential, educational and out-patient programs located in North Providence, Rhode Island. 13 room home for community based program is located on the periphery of Pawtucket's business district. The primary objective is to provide residential services for adolescent males. As members of the community, the residents are afforded the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational, recreational and cultural programs. All residents attend school locally with staff providing supplementary and remedial academic assistance. The program provides a clinican licensed at the independent level which may include a licensed psychologist, a licensed mental health professional, a licensed independent social worker or a licensed marriage and family therapist. The clinician will have weekly individual and group contact with each resident and provide consultation to staff, DCYF caseworkers and the resident's parent or guardian. Family therapy will also be provided when appropriate. The clinician will also provide consultation with other mental health professionals, school personnel and assist with crisis intervention while making appropriate treatment referrals.

Boys Town New England has five Family Homes that serve adolescents and young children at its Bazarsky Campus. The site also offers Foster Family ServicesSM, In-Home Family Services SM and Community Support ServicesSM. For children who have completed Boys Town New England out-of-home programs, Reunification Services are available to help them make a smooth transition back to their families and maintain and improve their treatment gains.
