Project RESPECT (formerly Anytown) has been engaging young people through a process of self-discovery and intentional community building. Designed as a residential leadership institute for young people, Project RESPECT is a life-changing experience for students ready to explore their identities and challenge their privilege. Over the course of the week, delegates dive into issues of privilege and oppression; forge life-long friendships; build confidence; and learn what it takes to create a world that is open and accepting of all cultures, ethnic groups, faiths/religions, and genders.

Camp WANNAGOAGAIN! is a two-week summer camp program for children with an autism, Asperger Syndrome or related communication disorder. Designed to provide a chance for real life experiences and learning new leisure skills while meeting new friends, our camp program offers a safe and fun environment that includes the following; Visual supports that enhance language comprehension and prediction, Low camper-to-counselor ratio, Trained, highly skilled staff, Sensory-based activities that enhance a camper’s ability to take advantage of language and communication opportunities, Structured teaching methods, Relaxation techniques that enhance self-regulation, Daily living routines are incorporated into camp activities as appropriate, Staff and program content that supports play skills, social skills and participation in group activities, Camp facilities (such as the pool and nature trails) offer gross motor activities that satisfy sensory needs and encourage communication, Traditional camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and nature walks.

The Arthritis Foundation’s Juvenile Arthritis camp programs give kids with arthritis and related childhood rheumatic diseases the chance to make lasting memories. KidsEye Summer Filmmaking Workshop: KidsEye is an intensive and fun five-day summer workshop held at the Moses Brown School, at 250 Lloyd Avenue, in Providence, RI that exposes young people to the basic elements of the filmmaking process, culminating in a premiere screening of their finished work.

2019 Bike Camp: Children learn to fix their bikes, gain safe riding skills, and go on group rides every weekday for a week. Plus, each child gets a new helmet and lock to keep! Campers will also CANOE on the river and learn about wildlife with fun, hands-on activities. The Red Shed Bike Shop (RSBS) is a program of the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC). It was started to get people on bikes and keep bikes out of the river. The RSBS is located in Riverside Park along the Fred Lippitt Woonasquatucket River Greenway, a seven-mile path that runs from downtown Providence into Johnston. The seasonal shop offers low cost bike repairs, rentals and inexpensive refurbished bikes for sale. Shop income and donations of bikes help fund the summer Bike Camp program. RSBS works with cyclists of all ages and skill levels, from those learning to ride for the first time to those with years of experience on two wheels. Red Shed gives local students, neighbors, and fellow Rhode Islanders the skills and information they need to be safe and confident cyclists so they can enjoy nature close to home. RSBS is committed to delivering programs that are accessible to all Rhode Islanders, regardless of income, education, or background.

Next Stop BROADWAY® is a week-long performing arts program consisting of classes, workshops, and rehearsals focused on classic Broadway shows. Participants (“cast members”) learn songs and choreography from two hit shows from the “Golden Age of Broadway” and create their own presentations based on shows in the upcoming PPAC season and other hit musicals. In addition to dance and vocal training, the program includes a mid-week “edu-tainment” segment, highlighted with film clips of Broadway shows.

The Tomorrow Fund sponsors two camps for patients and their siblings with NO COST to families: Camp Dotty and Camp Tomorrow. These day camps provide the opportunity for children to experience fun, age-appropriate activities while ensuring health care and safety needs are met. Child Life Services oversees all activities and supervises volunteer counselors all of whom receive special training.

Mother of Hope Camp provides young people of all faiths and backgrounds with the opportunity to grow physically, socially, and spiritually in a Catholic Christian community under the guidance of a trained and caring staff. We offer a broad range of recreational, educational, and spiritual activities. Through our various camp programs and the experience of nature, participants learn ways to build relationships of love and justice with God, others, and all of God's creation.

Rhode Island Football Academy is designed for campers ages 5-15. This division is an ideal camp opportunity for the player looking to become an elite football player. The camp philosophy of teaching “Football the Right Way” ensures that they will deliver proper football instruction to campers of all playing levels. Training sessions are fun and up tempo. Campers will build on their training learned each day for their respective position and then move on to more advanced training.

Camp Ker-Anna is a nonprofit summer camp, offering 8 weeks of day camp for ages 5-13 and 4 weeks of overnight for ages 9-14.

Camp Ruggles is Rhode Island’s therapeutic summer day camp program for children ages 6-12, who are clinically diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Our program is designed specifically for children with significant difficulties in these areas who cannot succeed in a regular camp environment.
