Intensive Outpatient Program The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at CODAC is an ideal opportunity for those individuals who find they have a need for increased access to support and treatment. IOP is approximately 8 weeks, and consists of individual and group sessions totaling a minimum 9 hours per week. IOPs may be utilized at any point along the treatment or recovery cycle and based on level of therapeutic need. If you are interested in this level of care speak with your CODAC provider. General Outpatient Services General Outpatient Programs are for individuals interested in treatment for Substance Use Disorder symptoms. General Outpatient programs utilize scheduled individual and group counseling sessions and drug/alcohol testing to assist patients in identifying and maintaining healthy life choices. CODAC counselors also work with the patient to integrate recovery support services in their treatment. We will to continue working with patients who have met their initial goals and want to maintain and strengthen their recovery. CODAC counselors work closely with their patients to achieve individual goals and/or meet the requirements of the referring authority. Most importantly, our programs are designed to assist individuals to develop and integrate a recovery oriented lifestyle that includes family, friends, health, wellness, joy and productivity. All CODAC programs emphasize the value recovery oriented lifestyle benefits and encouraged strongly encourage the integration of family members into the treatment and recovery process.

Offers Transitional Housing Program for men and women who are homeless and looking to achieve sobriety. Permanent supportive housing includes five rooming houses (35 rooms) and 22 apartments. First priority is given to graduates of the 90-Day Transitional Housing Program. Residents live in a clean and sober community and continue to benefit from Amos House programs and services. Registered Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site: Staff of tax preparers are IRS trained, tested, and certified to help people who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit program receive the tax credits they deserve. AA Meeting

For adolescent girls, 13-17. Provides individual, group and family counseling in a long-term residential treatment program for women in recovery from chemical dependency. Daily living in a family atmosphere develops a sense of normalcy and belonging in a non-threatening, supportive, educative and chemically free environment. The program places a strong emphasis on the Twelve Step Program of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Assertiveness training as well as physical and recreational activities are designed to improve health and appearance. Special emphasis is placed on helping each woman develop positive feelings of self-worth that will support the ultimate goal of sobriety. A relapse prevention specialist provides residential and outpatient relapse prevention services. Eastman House also offers a continuing after care program. Acute Stabilization Unit The ASU, as we call it, provides short term, residential services for the person who is having a mental health and/or substance abuse emergency, but who does not need hospitalization.
