Sparrows Point I Apartments—a project based Section 8 Development designed for the Elderly (62 years of age and older) and/or person with disabilities under 62 years of age. The community consists of (151 apts.) 135 one bedroom and 16 two bedroom apartments and is smoke free.

Glenark Landing Apartments is 89 apartments of affordable units, that is, geared to people earning no more than 60 percent of area median income. There are one, two, and three bedroom apartments to accommodate different family sizes; a laundry room; and a Community Room and Kitchen that all residents can enjoy.

The purpose of the Rhode Island Organizing Project (RIOP) is to promote justice and the common good. RIOP trains leaders to be active in their communities around the issues that are important to them.

Southern RI Volunteers is providing free delivery for residents of South County (Block Island, Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Jamestown, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, Wakefield, Westerly). Person must be disabled or a homebound senior. Person has to pay for the prescription beforehand.

Youth Transition For young people with disability, life before completing high school is very different than life afterwards. OSCIL provides a variety of services to help students and recent graduates gain the skills and resources needed to make this transition into adulthood. Assisting youth in transitioning from high school to adult life is a core service provided by OSCIL, including next steps such as going to college or finding employment. Hardig Brook Village is a senior low income housing apartment complex subsidized by the federal governments HUD (Housing and Urban Development Division)

Healthcare quality improvement organization delivering education, technical assistance, research, analytical and project management services. Convenes healthcare professionals and stakeholders at the local level to connect, share lessons learned, and utilize data to drive improvement.

Services: 9-1-1 is the emergency telephone number for all cities and towns in Rhode Island. Through a computerized telecommunications network, callers in any of Rhode Island's 39 cities and towns can dial 9-1-1 for all emergencies (police, fire, or medical). The 9-1-1 Telecommunicator will know your location, even if you are unable to talk to them. Emergency services will be dispatched to your location. Education and informational materials and programs are available.

Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons, 18 - 100, who are blind or severely visually impaired, through a center-based program, regional satellites, or community services. Included are daily living skills training, orientation and mobility, counseling, diabetic program, summer camp, low vision services, workshop training and employment, a closed circuit radio information service, volunteer services, speakers bureau, tapes, Braille material, aids and appliances. Richmond Emergency Management Agency implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The EMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties.

Drug recovery meetings

Citizenship & Immigration Services staff members provide advice and representation on citizenship and immigration processes. They offer low-cost legal services to immigrants and refugees and their families. Their legal representation at U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) is limited to Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut residents. Legal representation at the Immigration Court in Boston is also available on a case-by-case basis.

Disability Determination Services (DDS) is a unit within the Office of Rehabilitation Services. DDS is the state agency which determines the medical eligibility of Rhode Island residents (children and adults) who have applied for cash benefits under the disability programs administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The two SSA disability programs are Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) (Title II) and Supplementary Security Income (SSI) (Title XVI). The DDS is responsible for collecting medical evidence of record and determining whether the claimant is disabled and/or blind as defined by the Social Security Act. Medical, psychological, and audiological examinations and tests are used to better understand the disability and needs for specific types of services.

BH has 5 treatment bays and can assist 8-10 individuals at one time.
