Clinicians use the most effective therapy methods to identify and resolve issues that have led to substance use. Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a stately 4-story skilled nursing facility conveniently located adjacent to Roger William and Providence VA Hospitals.

Maternal Child Home Visiting provides child development, health and social services to newborns and their families as well as families with young children. Healthy Families America (HFA) is designed to help parents with understanding and caring for their infant’s needs, building strong parent child connections, breastfeeding and feeding support, and helping children learn and grow to reach their potential. Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a home based program that supports parents by teaching them the skills they need to teach their children and enhance their development and also supports families with monthly community activities and family events. Both programs enrolls pregnant families and families with children up to 4 years old. Both programs are free and help families connect with other services and supports that they feel they need.

Linn Health & Rehabilitation is a vibrant community for adults who are in need of specialized long-term and short-term medical care. Established in 1978, we offer skilled nursing, post-hospital care, onsite rehabilitation therapy, and short- and long-term medical care in a private or semi-private room setting. We are part of Aldersbridge Communities, a local, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide the best possible medical care in an atmosphere where residents can live in comfort, dignity, and with purpose.

They provide individual non-medical assistance to improve the quality of life for those who wish to stay at home but need additional care and support. Their services range from hourly and respite care to overnight and live-in care, depending on the clients’ individual needs.

RESPITE SERVICES.

East Greenwich Emergency Management implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The EMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties and performs any other duties as assigned by the Town Manager. The East Greenwich Police Department is an integral part of the Town's Emergency Management Agency. The department is tasked with site assessments, public safety, and direction and control during emergencies.

Services: Provides therapeutic, milieu, case management and up to six months aftercare.

RISLA's College Planning Center offers one-on-one in-person support for all your college planning needs

Overnight shelter, dental services, food pantry, clothing room, and meal programs. **Overnight Shelter Provides emergency, overnight shelter for 75 to 90 homeless men and 15 to 30 homeless women, seven nights a week. Each overnight guest has the ability to take a hot shower, eat a hot dinner, sleep in a clean bed, and have breakfast in the morning. **Food & Clothing We operate an emergency food pantry and a clothing room. Individuals and families use these services on a daily basis. We distribute approximately 16,000 lbs. of food and 5,000 articles of clothing each month. **Meal Programs Our meal programs provide approximately 6,000 hot meals a month to the needy in our community as well as 1,700 box lunches to the children. In addition to our feeding ministry, we do special events during the holidays. This past Thanksgiving we provided Thanksgiving food boxes for 1,600 families in the Providence area. Each box contained 20 pounds of non-perishable food and a 20 pound turkey. At Christmastime, we provided 9,300 gifts to over 3,100 needy families through our Christmas Toy Ministry. **Dental Offices In a phrase - state-of-the-art. The Providence Rescue Mission features a full service dental office that helps Individuals start a new life with a smile they can proud of. Our office features x-ray, full cleaning, and other dental services. Local dentists and staff see patients by appointment only. **Discipleship Program We run a one-year discipleship program that allows 10 to 15 homeless men with, but not limited to, substance abuse issues to start a new life by combining biblical values, counseling, education and career training and reunification with their families. This program is at capacity most of the time.
