Blackstone Valley Community health Care (BVCHC) has established a program that reduces fees charged to patients based on their income and family size. The categories we use are based on percentages of “Poverty Level” as annually determined by the federal government. Qualifying patients will pay a nominal fee if they qualify for 100% of poverty. Patients between 101% and 200% will pay a amount depending on their family size and percentage of poverty. Every program has requirements and BVCHC’s Sliding Fee Program is no different.

The Mission of the British Charitable Society is to provide relief to unfortunate British persons who by the dispensations of Providence may be reduced to poverty, or as emigrants, destitute of information, require the aid of such an institution. The Society raises the funds to fulfill its mission by presenting a range of high quality and highly entertaining events with a distinctly 'British' flavor, which appeal both to its increasingly diverse membership and to corporate sponsors and partners. Emergency Care: the payment of outstanding utility bills or overdue rent on a one-time basis Transitional Support: a small monthly stipend to help with expenses during a temporary downturn in income (usually not exceeding 6 months ) Crisis Transportation: Airfare to the UK for emergencies or permanent resettlement, or to cover car repairs if needed for work
