Founded in 1971, CODAC Behavioral Healthcare is Rhode Island’s oldest and largest non-profit, outpatient provider of treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). With seven community-based locations, as well as programming at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RI DOC), CODAC is well-positioned to deliver services wherever they are needed across the state. CODAC offers psychiatric and mental health services at all of their locations. After an initial intake screening you may be referred to an on-site psychiatric practitioner for further evaluation and treatment. Individualized treatment and recovery plans might include medication management supervised by the psychiatric practitioner and ongoing co-occurring counseling with clinical staff. It is not unusual to have both mental health disorders and a substance use disorder. Because the two conditions are so closely linked, CODAC has responded to offer you effective treatment and recovery programs to address both disorders concurrently.

Outpatient substance abuse counseling and group therapy. Also provides counseling for domestic violence, gambling, and anger management services for men, women and children over six.

The Ballou Home for the Aged is a 43 bed not-for-profit skilled nursing facility located in Woonsocket, RI. We provide Long term care and post acute hospital care to individuals who require skilled nursing and/or rehabilitative services.

Aging Well, Inc. has provided services to seniors and adults with disabilities residing in Northern Rhode Island since 1975. In accordance with the Congregate Meal Program financed through a grant with R.I. Office of Healthy Aging, Senior Services, Inc. provides nutritionally balanced lunches five days a week at meal sites throughout northern R.I.

Lunch is served in the Parkside Dining Room at the Senior/Community Center. Those unable to pay will not be turned away. Meals are also available for home-bound neighbors weekdays with Meals on Wheels

The SAMHSA Drug-Free Workplace Helpline provides confidential, practical, impartial, and up-to-date information, advice, and support free of charge to employees and their families. Topics cover a wide range of issues related to federal and non-federal Drug-Free Workplace Programs and drug testing. This service is designed to equip employees and their families with essential knowledge to resolve issues at work and/or in their personal lives. The helpline is staffed Monday through Friday by professional advisers, including workplace specialists and certified Employee Assistance Program (EAPs) providers.

The Rhode Island Joint Cyber Task Force (JCTF) was established to prevent and respond to cyber security events and defend the security of critical infrastructure. The RIJCTF is comprised of members from the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit and individuals representing higher education, hospitals, finance, utilities and defense. This cyber initiative is in line with the President's mandate on cyber security.
