Concord Visiting Nurses is the skilled component of the company. Skilled nurses and therapists provided by Concord Visiting Nurses treat clients recovering from an inpatient stay, requiring rehabilitation after an injury or illness, and wound and ostomy care and various other skilled services.

Hospital charity care requirements cover those essential services necessary to diagnose, correct, or cure a medical condition that endangers life, causes pain and suffering, results in illness or infirmity, or causes a physical deformity or malfunction. Both inpatient and outpatient services are included. To receive full charity care, patients annual family income must be up to and including 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For partial charity care, patients annual family income must be between 200% and 300% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive assistance based on a sliding scale. In addition to income, hospitals have the option to consider other assets. Also must be denied from Medicaid first depending on income. Residential school for boys, grades seven through twelve. The mission of the RISPCA is to protect and advocate for the rights and welfare of animals through legal, educational, legislative and investigative means. They provide adoption and rehoming services, veterinary care, humane education, training support and pet owner assistance programs. The Rhode Island SPCA is also the only organization in the state that can legally investigate and prosecute cases of animal cruelty and neglect. They take an active role in legislative matters concerning the welfare of all animals in our state.

The FPA of Rhode Island is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Exists to further the success of the financial planning profession. Developed programs and services that include monthly meetings, educational presentations, special events, and networking opportunities for members and associated professionals. In addition FPA – RI is extensively involved in community outreach. Its goal is to provide the consumer with the resources necessary to make sound financial decisions.

Provides work clothing at no cost to low-income men and women who are completing job training and education programs, and seeking employment.

Support and advocacy for the blind. Monthly meetings focus mainly on advocacy activities such as legislative and public policy development and public education. However, peer support for individuals is available and provided as needed. Purpose of the group is to foster positive attitudes towards blindness for both the blind and sighted communities. Chapters The Greater Providence Chapter of the NFB of RI meets on the second Saturday of each month, except for the months of July and October from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and they are preceded by a social half hour at 10 Office Parkway, in East Providence. The Mount Hope Chapter of the NFB of RI meets on the third Thursday of each month, except for October and December from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, preceded by a social half hour.
