The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County works toward a future free from violence. They work collaboratively to offer safety, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to residents of Washington County. DVRCSC has a confidential safe home for women who face homelessness as a result of domestic violence. Additional services include a Drop-In Advocacy Center, Support Groups and One-on-One Counseling by appointment. They offer education and outreach on the subject of healthy relationships, dating violence, cyber stalking and techno-abuse. The Ocean Tides School Providence Campus is an alternative day school for students in grades seven through twelve. Blackstone Valley Community health Care (BVCHC) has established a program that reduces fees charged to patients based on their income and family size. The categories used are based on percentages of “Poverty Level” as annually determined by the federal government. Qualifying patients will pay a nominal fee if they qualify for 100% of poverty. Patients between 101% and 200% will pay an amount depending on their family size and percentage of poverty. Every program has requirements and BVCHC’s Sliding Fee Program is no different.

The Code sets forth standards of conduct for all public officials and employees.
