The Public Utilities Commission comprises two distinct regulatory bodies: a three-member Commission (Commission) and the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers (Division). Although two distinct regulatory bodies, the Commission and Division generally operate in concert. This is evidenced by the Division’s status as an indispensable party in all Commission proceedings, and the Division’s statutory charge to enforce all directives of the Commission. Both entities may conduct inquiries, investigations and hearings to effectuate their respective duties. Both may issue orders that have the force and effect of law. The Division is also legislatively required to maintain a website in accordance with RIGL section 39-1-18. The Division makes every effort to insure that this legislative mandate is carried out. Occupational Therapy The goal of occupational therapy is to help the patient regain maximum use of his/her upper extremities by improving arm strength, upper body flexibility and hand coordination. Neighbors Helping Neighbors Rhode Island is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families stay in their homes through a variety of ways, primarily by providing necessary home repairs and modifications. NHN RI offers services including building wheelchair ramps, painting houses indoor or out, repairing porches or steps, patching roofs, and fixing windows. All of these can make real differences to neighbors in need. Necessary home repairs are often left undone when people are faced with the need to stretch their paycheck, disability check, or Social Security income. In some cases, completing this work is the only way people are able to stay in their homes and remain independent.

Kids’ Link RI is a behavioral health triage service and referral network. A program offered in collaboration with Gateway Healthcare, Lifespan, Hasbro Children's Hospital and Bradley Hospital, Kids’ Link RI is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help triage children and youth in need of mental health services and refer them to treatment providers.​

The mission of the Woonsocket Senior Center is to improve quality of life and to maintain individuals in their preferred home environment in the community through nutrition programs, Health & Wellness Education, Adult Day Program, and Information and Referral. Senior Services, Inc. has provided services to seniors and adults with disabilities residing in Northern Rhode Island since 1975. In accordance with the Congregate Meal Program financed through a grant with R.I. Office of Healthy Aging, Senior Services, Inc. provides nutritionally balanced lunches five days a week at meal sites throughout northern R.I. Senior Services, Inc. offers activities, entertainment, computer classes, and Wellness programs, including our weekly blood pressure clinic and exercise classes. Senior Services, Inc. also offers an Adult Day Program ("A Home for the Day"), and a Community Information Specialist who can provide information on eligibility for all state and local programs.

Healthy Families America,provides support to expectant parents and families with infants. Enrolling families early in a pregnancy or shortly after the birth of a newborn is key; once enrolled, families can continue to receive services until their child turns four years old. Family Visitors can support your family to build strong and healthy relationships. Your Family Visitor can also help you become more confident in your role as a parent as it relates to healthy child development. Family Visitors can also help you become more self-sufficient by partnering with you to identify your family's goals.

Concentra provides physical therapy services to patients, regardless of how the injury occurred. Many patients come to Concentra after a work-related injury, and works directly with the physician to develop a treatment plan to return them to full-function and back to work in a timely manner.

Kingstown Crossings I offers HUD subsidized 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. In addition to housing, this program offers a variety of services, including case management and referrals to support families and their children.
