Best Buddies Friendship programs build one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded. Through their participation, people with IDD form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and share interests, experiences and activities that many other individuals enjoy. They offer e-Buddies: a safe place online to develop one-to-one friendships between people with and without IDD. By joining e-Buddies, participants become more comfortable using technology to communicate with friends, gain computer literacy skills, and are better equipped to socialize online in the future.

You will have access to highly trained, experiences, licensed, caring professionals – who see that you are so much more that your current addiction. CODAC has been Rhode Island’s partners in recovery since 1971. We are proud of the high professional regard in which our administrative, clinical and medical staff is held in the opioid treatment community. Our programs have been recognized both nationally and at the state level for consistently exceeding standards in the delivery of medication assisted treatment. Powerful Tools for Caregivers Catholic Social Services of RI has trained 16 new Class Leaders who are certified to teach the Powerful Tools for Caregivers Program. The six week classes (1.5 hours each week) provide a self-care education program for family caregivers. The Powerful Tools for Caregivers program will provide you with tools and strategies to better handle the unique caregiver challenges you face. The Unit provides a safe, structured environment that meets physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs throughout the disease progression. An emphasis is placed on residents succeeding, dignity, and support of family members. Short Term Rehabilitative Care Short Term Rehabilitative Care is designed for individuals in need of rehabilitation following hip or knee replacement, heart attack, stroke, or other acute medical event. Our goal is to rehabilitate individuals to restore their previous level of functioning with the goal of returning back to their home. Skilled nursing services; on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available. Short term stays range from one week to several weeks, depending upon the individual’s medical condition. Hospice Suite The Hospice Suite provides care for terminally ill individuals who qualify for general inpatient level of care. The Suite affords residents a lovely homelike environment with ample room for visiting family members.

BVG II offers 41 new rental apartments in newly constructed and renovated buildings across 10 locations in Pawtucket and Central Falls, RI. Serving households of varying sizes, earning between 50-60% AMI. Units range from 1-4 bedrooms. The Gately Building offers 13 affordable apartments, a large commercial space with a complete commercial kitchen, and a large community space. PCF Development has partnered with Farm Fresh Rhode Island to turn the Gately Building’s first commercial space into a permanent location for job training and retail operations. Farm Fresh Rhode Island is a non-profit food incubator that strives to bring food producers, consumers and markets together.
