(Stroke, Together, Advocacy, Recovery, Support) invite you to join "HOPE after STROKE" meetings which take place in the rear of the 4 South dining room at Fatima Hospital. Spinal Cord Support Group Meetings take place in the outpatient therapy gym at Southern New England Rehabilitation Center’s Providence location at St. Joseph Health Center, 21 Peace Street. The gym is located on the third floor on the west wing.

LeadSafe Homes Program was developed to help eliminate the dangers of lead in the property. Funds are available to properties built before 1978, properties with pregnant women and children under the age of six, and home-based daycares or foster homes that may contain lead paint. There are no out of pocket expenses or monthly payments. Funds are grants/loans and loans are forgiven after 5 years for owner-occupied properties and 10 years for rental properties. Improvements may include new windows and doors, interior and exterior painting and lead safe yards and play areas.

The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program provides monthly payments to adults and children with a disability or blindness and who have income and resources below specified amounts. SSI payments can also be made to people 65 and older without disabilities who meet the financial limits. People who have worked long enough may also qualify to receive Social Security disability or retirement benefits as well as SSI.
