Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Mount Hope Bridge, Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge, the Newport Pell Bridge, and the Sakonnet River Bridge. The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Foundation provides funds to worthy organizations with proceeds generated from special events held on RITBA properties throughout the year. Providing care at the place the patient calls home is the basic philosophy of hospice, whether it is at home, in a family member's home, a nursing home, an assisted living, or a residential care facility.

The Public Utilities Commission comprises two distinct regulatory bodies: a three-member Commission (Commission) and the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers (Division). Although two distinct regulatory bodies, the Commission and Division generally operate in concert. This is evidenced by the Division’s status as an indispensable party in all Commission proceedings, and the Division’s statutory charge to enforce all directives of the Commission. Both entities may conduct inquiries, investigations and hearings to effectuate their respective duties. Both may issue orders that have the force and effect of law. The Division is also legislatively required to maintain a website in accordance with RIGL section 39-1-18. The Division makes every effort to insure that this legislative mandate is carried out. Technology Demonstrations- TechACCESS provides in-person or virtual demonstrations (up to 1 hour) of assistive technology to the public. Appointments are required. Demonstrations are provided based on tools identified by the individual.

Professional Development- TechACCESS can customize and present workshops on a variety of AT and AAC topics. They can present via zoom or in person or in person at their center, or on site at location. A fee applies for all customized workshops. Workshops can be 2 hours, half day or full day.

Domestic Violence is one of the leading causes of homelessness for women. As an affiliate member of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence, we provide integrated services to address the unique needs of domestic violence survivors, as we work with them to break the cycle of violence and find secure, stable housing. Through the Domestic Violence Program we offer comprehensive trauma-informed services for domestic violence survivors, including a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, advocacy, support groups, and children's enrichment programs. The Domestic Violence Program is primarily an emergency shelter program with a focus on safety and housing. The shelter provides safety for 26 domestic violence survivors and their children in a confidential location separate from other Crossroads properties. Clients have access to Crossroads Rhode Island’s range of services, including basic needs assistance, education, employment services and intensive case management, while they work to find a secure and stable home.

BH has 5 treatment bays and can assist 8-10 individuals at one time.
