The Rhode Island Coordinated Entry System (CES) is a partnership of all of the homeless providers in the state and is initiative of the Rhode Island Continuum of Care. The day to day operations of this program are led by the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless including the call center and shelter and housing placement. Crossroads Rhode Island provides diversion assessments. CES is a standardized assessment and referral process that helps rapidly end each household's homelessness by connecting them with appropriate housing and resources as quickly as possible. Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) creates a team of professionals who serve to protect and heal a child who has endured trauma. Under this model, the child comes to a child-friendly environment and meets with a trained interviewer while the other team members observe from another room via a video screen. The child is informed of the equipment and of the observing team, and is never forced to answer any questions.

The RIJCTF is comprised of members from the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit and individuals representing higher education, hospitals, finance, utilities and defense. This cyber initiative is in line with the President's mandate on cyber security. SEDC's social service programs include: Affordable Care Act (ACA), Meal Café, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program); Southeast Asian Elder Advancement Program; assistance with transitional housing management; and case management. Social Services in Providence include: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance; Victim's Assistance Program; Affordable Care Act; and Meals on Wheels and SNAP referrals. Their International Language Bank provides fee-for-service, 24/7 translation and interpretation in over 40 languages.
