Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island offers reduced or no charge services for emergency and other medically necessary care for individuals eligible under our Financial Assistance Policy. Eligibility is based on the Hospital’s Financial Assistance Policy, which includes using the Federal Poverty Level guidelines, number of dependents, and gross annual income along with supportive income documents.

Assisted Daily Living, Inc. provides clients with a wide array of services designed to ensure superior patient care in the familiar comfort of home, often providing a happier and more affordable alternative to nursing, or assisted living facilities. Services can be arranged for a few hours a week or around the clock. ADL begins by reviewing the specific needs of the client through discussions with family members, as well as the care recipient's doctor, social workers or therapists. A customized program of care is developed to manage the client's daily needs. If a patient travel distance is 1000 miles or less, the services of a volunteer pilot organization flying for public benefit will be the referral.
