Couples' Shelter: The only emergency shelter in the state for couples without children, offers case management for four couples in scattered apartments. Harrington Hall: Rhode Island's largest men's shelter, accommodates up to 112 men. Women's Shelter: Shelters 41 women in 10 shared bedrooms, one wheelchair-accessible bedroom, a common space and outdoor patio.

Speech Therapy Speech therapy is prescribed to help patients who are experiencing difficulty speaking, communicating their thoughts, or swallowing. Our speech pathologists often treat patients with neurodegenerative diseases, memory and movement disorders, traumatic brain injury and stroke limitations. They begin by assessing the patient's speech, hearing, language, and swallowing abilities and then plan, implement, and evaluate a course of therapy.

In addition to skills-building, we provide support to prepare job seekers for the work world, job placement assistance and education supports. Financial Education & Coaching: Includes group training, one‐on‐one coaching, budgeting, credit repair, help with opening a checking or savings account, home ownership, mortgage default or reverse mortgage counseling, and free tax preparation.

Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) serves people who have disabilities or chronic care needs in the setting ideal for them and their families. Services may be episodic or on-going. Services may be provided in a person's home, the community (for example, shared living or assisted living), or institutional settings (for example, intermediate care facilities, hospitals, or nursing homes) to optimize their health and retain their independence. Medicare is managed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Social Security works with CMS by enrolling people in Medicare. Medicare is the country’s health insurance program for people age 65 or older. The Office of Child Support Services establishes paternity of children, establishes court orders for financial and medical support, modifies or changes the order when appropriate, and vigorously enforces support orders.
