Six month program and transitional housing for men, 18 and older in early recovery from substance abuse. Must be able to work. Provides referral services and crisis intervention. Our treatment program is based on the 12-step principles of recovery. We utilize evidence based therapy as well as other proven clinical methods. Residents are required to attend community based self-help groups, participate in individual and group counseling, join in weekly activity therapy and perform household chores.

The Division of Developmental Disabilities is responsible for planning, funding and overseeing a community system of services and supports for adults with developmental disabilities. They fund a statewide network of community services and supports for Rhode Islanders living with intellectual and significant developmental disabilities. These services are available through community provider agencies.

Services: Provides immediate emergency relief assistance to families suffering losses caused by disasters. Other services include counseling, financial assistance and world wide communication programs for military families and veterans.
