OSDRI manages a community supported food pantry and personal hygiene program for use by in-need veterans stocked with non perishables. The pantry is available for use by in-need veterans during normal business hours and is stocked with non-perishables. Veterans wanting to use the pantry must bring proof of veteran status before admittance.
Personal Hygiene Program- Personal hygiene products, including soaps, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, razors, and other items are stocked at the Food Pantry.

EBCAP’s Food Pantries offer monthly food distribution to assist food insecure households. Individuals/families in need of food assistance may come to one of EBCAP’s three food pantries twice a month. When you arrive, our staff will help you select food that you/your family will enjoy. The amount of food you receive is based on your family size. It is helpful (but not required) to bring with you re-useable bags.
The program provides:
-Nutritious supplemental food at no cost to participants
-Assistance to people with special dietary needs
-Family advocates who assess additional needs of individuals/families and connect participants to other EBCAP community resources

The Project Hope/Proyecto Esperanza National Grid Program: This program assists clients with funding to sustain their payments after other available assistance ceases. Clients receive weatherization assistance, participate in an energy efficiency class, and enroll in our Family Futures Financial Literacy Program.
The Family Futures Financial Literacy Program: a six-week course with weekly one-hour sessions covering basic budgeting, basic banking, traps/pay day lenders, debt management, job training, and understanding utilities bills. In addition to the basic curriculum, participants also receive one-on-one mentoring from a financial coach. The Family Futures Financial Literacy Program is recommended to all clients who participate in our programs.
Weekly office hours for SNAP outreach workers who assist clients with completion of SNAP (Food Stamp) applications.

Overnight shelter, dental services, food pantry, clothing room, and meal programs.
**Overnight Shelter
Provides emergency, overnight shelter for 75 to 90 homeless men and 15 to 30 homeless women, seven nights a week. Each overnight guest has the ability to take a hot shower, eat a hot dinner, sleep in a clean bed, and have breakfast in the morning.
**Food & Clothing
We operate an emergency food pantry and a clothing room. Individuals and families use these services on a daily basis. We distribute approximately 16,000 lbs. of food and 5,000 articles of clothing each month.
**Meal Programs
Our meal programs provide approximately 6,000 hot meals a month to the needy in our community as well as 1,700 box lunches to the children. In addition to our feeding ministry, we do special events during the holidays. This past Thanksgiving we provided Thanksgiving food boxes for 1,600 families in the Providence area. Each box contained 20 pounds of non-perishable food and a 20 pound turkey. At Christmastime, we provided 9,300 gifts to over 3,100 needy families through our Christmas Toy Ministry.
**Dental Offices
In a phrase - state-of-the-art. The Providence Rescue Mission features a full service dental office that helps Individuals start a new life with a smile they can proud of. Our office features x-ray, full cleaning, and other dental services. Local dentists and staff see patients by appointment only.
**Discipleship Program
We run a one-year discipleship program that allows 10 to 15 homeless men with, but not limited to, substance abuse issues to start a new life by combining biblical values, counseling, education and career training and reunification with their families. This program is at capacity most of the time.

The Exeter Emergency Food Bank (501c3) is separate from the Social Services Dept. However, because it is staffed by volunteers, anyone needing assistance is asked to call the Social Services department to schedule a time to pick up food. Appointments are made for Wednesday mornings beginning at 9 am or Wednesday afternoons. Emergency situations will open the food bank as needed.
Donations to the Food Bank can be dropped off at Town Hall or at the Exeter Public Library.
